I guess you #blamesefo guys have got your wish granted.

Per Kyle Ringo, Jordan Gherke will be playing, in some capacity, in the final two game of the season. Even I have to admit that Sefo has been a little too interception prone, and with the fact that the Buffs will not be in a bowl game so that, in effect, the Buffs will be playing with house money the next few weeks, means that they should give Jordan a chance, but anyway, all of you Sefo haters can feel like all of your wishes are fulfilled. And for the #blamesefo crowed, I would humbly request that you ask yourself how may of you have got concussed for the Buffs. Sorry if the font on this post is a little wonky, but I am slightly drunk.

As the creator of #blamesefo, I fully back Sefo 100% as our QB of the future, and am definitely not a "sefo h8r".

To be clear I only called for Sefo to be benched and never suggested a different starter. If Gherke craps the bed that's on someone else.

With two games left and going to get drilled by the Ducks might as well let Gherke get some snaps.

Give Gehrke the entire second half against Oregon (I expect to be down three scores at half-at least).........Utah is still a pretty big game for us (recruiting, morale going into the offseason)---do everything to win it.......Don't guarantee Gehrke any time there IMO.

To be clear, most of the "anti-Sefo" posters on this board have never advocated benching Sefo in favor of any QB on the roster this season.

This is a message move. Given that we are playing for nothing but pride again, mm has the luxury of doing some program building. It tells the team to play smart and no one is untouchable and every job must be earned every week. It tells sefo he better work his ass off and that they are going to find guys who will press him. It tells Jordan he has earned a shot thru hard work to show what he can do in live action.

This tells me a few things -- mm is again demonstrating he is playing for the long run. He might make different choices if a bowl game or his job were on the line.

I approve. If only the staff could recruit some blue chips I'd feel a lot better about the future.

Agree that this will be good for the program and MM is sending the correct message. Sefo is a competitor and I think he will rise to the challenge but he damn well needs to take better care of the ball. This team cannot afford to give the ball away. There is not enough talent to overcome these mistakes. Competition is a good thing and regardless of how I think Gehrke will do, giving him snaps as the backup and a chance to compete at this point can only be a positive.

nailed it Liver. Next year we will have some QB battles. Awini, Jordan, Aspay, Sefo

It's Jordan's moment to rise to the occasion. He's worked hard for this opportunity. I sure hope he takes full advantage of the playing time and makes his teammates proud.

i wish jordan nothing but the best.... but dont you think we would have seen him earlier this year if he was better than sefo?

I hope the best for Jordan as well but also hope his eyes are not bulging like last week. He needs to be much more composed when he gets on the field. His throws were horribly off target and he was just slinging it as hard as he could. Settle in, see the field, and breath. Do not forget to breath.

He is not an accurate passer. Hasn't been since he arrived on campus. Has a big arm and good running ability. May finally pop the lid on the defense with his arm, who knows.

Who hates Sefo on this board? I don't think I've ever seen anyone say they "hate Sefo" as CU's QB, but I could be wrong. There are issues at the QB position, not all of it is Sefo's fault, but enough to warrant someone else getting a shot at this point in the year, IMO.

Love the kid. Pulling for him.
