what a cluster**** that was. I felt like it was an experiment on how not to run things. For the people that weren't there. They decided to set up the beer/wine stations in an island in the center of the room, which probably worked when it was empty, but fell apart when lines got long. You couldn't walk around the room without cutting through a line because they would stretch in each direction from the center to the wall.

Also please have more than one person at a station. It takes too long for one person to look at id, pour beer/wine, run credit card or make change. If more than 1 person got served in a minute, than I would be shocked. I left for the club room with less than a minute left in the first half, got in line (I was about 20 people back), waited, waited some more and kept waiting. When we finally bailed, there were still at least 10 people ahead of us and the game was starting in 1:30. They lost thousands of dollars by being so inefficient. Hopefully we will see a new configuration with the stations in the corners and the lines going parallel to the wall to open up the center and 2 or 3 people per station.

Good news is they hate the fate ipa on tap. Bad news is I didn't get to drink one (I did get to drink one at fate before the game).

So if anyone can pass this on the RG, I would appreciate it.

For the opener last year, they had 1 or 2 beer/wine stations. Tonight they had 5. But the lines were so long that I didn't bother trying to get a drink.

it is not the number of stations it is the number of people you can serve. You can have 2 stations with four people at each one and serve a lot more than they did tonight.

+1. Couldn't agree more. exactly this.

Concessions sucked too. Tried to get food in the club room before the game, line too long. Went to a concession stand in the arena, ordered a hot dog. Told it would be a ten minute wait because they didn't have any ready. Forget that, ordered 'loaded nachos' and pay with a card. That's not an option either because I would have to wait for the chili. I say fine, give me regular nachos, but they can't figure out how to refund my card. Told them I'd take cash back, but they froze the register and couldn't get it open. Finally had to get cash from the next one over. To top it off, the regular nachos were ****ty. Took forever and a complete cluster****.

They also hit the max limit of people in the "club room" and were denying people at the door.

I left for the club room during the timeout with about 3:30 left in the 1st, and all the stations had a handful of people in line already. The Fate IPA was pretty good though. The concessions upstairs seemed to always have a long line.

I didn't go to the club room last night - but I did a walk-around the concourse at half and it seemed worse. With 2 mins left at half you couldn't get past the bathrooms because the concession lines were still solid.
One friend left for the club 5 mins before half - he said when he got there they were not ready for food orders at the concession stands.
Another spent 20 mins getting 4 hotdogs for his kids and family.

Football was the same way after game one, so I hope they jump on it. The turkey legs and strawberry bananna chocolate sticks looked like big hits.

Personally I hope Illegal Pete's has a few more remote stand games.

Last year, there was an Illegal Pete's burrito stand in the concourse behind my seats.

This year, there is not.

FAIL.

Yeah, I'm right in front of there too. Promised my wife they were there and was bummed to see that popcorn vendor. Food options are meager.

So far I'm significantly less than impressed with Levy and their food service. They haven't done a good job at football games to this point, and basketball seems to be a continuation of the same because they can't or won't staff properly. Was also quite irritated to see that almost all of the booth food vendors weren't there last night. Didn't bother with the club room assuming it would be a nightmare.

The next round of facilities improvements really should include a substantial widening of the concourse with added concession areas.

however, look on the bright side, 5 years ago, they wouldn't even open up half the concession areas during home games.

this. the club room was a disaster last night. my mom, who doesn't get angry like ever, was pissed at the lack of efficiency.

You guys should email all of this feedback to RG if he's shown anything it is a willingness to address the game day atmosphere.

Personally I think the club room should require a mandatory $100 donation to get access.

or just season ticket holders like it used to be

The women's game tonight, completely different story... 15 people in there, 10 people at the game

Fail

I would go with the either option if I were CU - it would greatly limit the people in there in a fair way.

Though not like the men's game, it was more than this. The last time I was out for a game, there were more people than were there last night but it was a lousy driving night and the first game of the season. Did not see much action at the beer stand, but they ran out of soup.
