BOULDER – The University of Colorado women’s soccer team has earned a berth to the 2014 NCAA Tournament and will host the BYU Cougars in the first round at Prentup Field on Saturday, November 15 at noon MT, the Division I Women’s Soccer Committee announced Monday.

“Obviously we are really excited to be selected and excited for an opportunity to host,” said Colorado head coach Danny Sanchez. “A lot of great work by our players, and our administration put a great bid together so we have an opportunity to host. We are very familiar with BYU and they’re familiar with us. They are a very good team. They really rolled through the West Coast Conference this year and will be a huge challenge for us. But right now we’re just really excited to have an opportunity to represent the University of Colorado in the tournament again and hopefully we get a good crowd on Saturday and we’re ready to go.”

TWICS Week 13

Assumed it would be, but still good to see that the BYU match is now officially listed as one that's going to be available to watch via live streaming- http://pac-12.com/sports/schedule/network/live-stream/ . (I believe live streams are usually free, so Buff fans won't need Pac 12 network access to watch?)

Thanks so much to CU's athletic administration and production teams for providing these streams. We are so spoiled and lucky to be able to see almost every sporting event live nowadays.

Also, for those who can attend the match, just wanted to copy ticket info from the cubuffs.com article (especially since folk may be used to pre-season and Pac 12 season matches, which are free to attend)- "Tickets can be purchased online at cubuffs.com, by calling 303-49-BUFFS or at the gate on Saturday. Admission for adults is $7, students, seniors (55+) and children (under 12) can get in for $3 and tickets for children (5 years and younger) are $1 each."

Go Buffs!

Gonna be cold! As of right now they are calling for a high of 27 with 50% chance of snow. Wish we were playing a warm weather team.

Assume people will see other newer thread, but please note new time (1:00) for match, and that's it now going to be on Pac 12 network rather than just being streamed.

I had every intention of taking the family to this match.

Not with this weather.

Good luck, Buffs! I'll be watching on tv if it's on PACN.

about 3 minutes in.

Watching online through pac-12.com

Olivia Pappalardo on what looked like it wasn't that threatening of a shot

Buffs came out all wearing shorts while the BYU women are wearing sports leggings. Sending a toughness message with that in this weather. Sanchez and our Buffs playing the psyche out game (kind of like when football teams go sleeveless in cold weather home games). Love it!

Seems like it would make sense to take long shots today whenever possible. Goalies are having trouble getting footing to move laterally.

Yeah, I have a feeling that we will see several goals that would be just normal saves in other conditions.

Buffs are being really physical. BYU players are hitting the turf... HARD. Buff player just slammed a BYU player out of bounds. Nice.

How good is the Pac-12 this year?

9 teams made the NCAAs. Pac-12 went 4-1 yesterday. Only loss was double OT (Wazzu).

They missed a BYU hand ball in the box, I believe that would have been a penalty kick.

This match is exactly what you think it would be in this type of weather and it still could go either way.

2nd half underway. Buffs just got lucky. BYU sailed one over the goal from point blank.
