Not really worthy of a thread, but Fowler gave a nice plug for Ralphie on gameday.....of course, Herbie had to say that nobody has seen Ralphie since 1996....

I thought I did see a short Ralphie clip on there?

Yes....I guess Chris was not paying attention....I think his point was Ralphie's run is the best entry in football, but no mention other than the short clip.

Oh I agree on that. That 70s Blowhio St. entry was hilarious when they tore down Michigan's banner.

He should have told herbie that cu doesn't have basket weaving classes either.

I have often wondered how former players and famous media figures deal with the demise of the Buffs, especially the players who were on the great Buff teams of the 90s. It is bad enough for all of us, but I wonder how those guys deal with this ****.

They bleed black and gold, and now we are a complete embarrassment.

1996 Herbie? We weren't too bad in 2001, punk!...But I get his point. We have sucked for a long time. :bang:

:stupid:

Herbie is a moron, OSU is a pedestrian school and Fowler is a class act.

LOL. Is that a dis on OSU? Or on CFB in general? I'm guessing the latter cuz OSU is a good school.

OSU is a decent school, Cal is an elite school. That doesn't mean that the football players at either one learn anything that doesn't come from a football coach.

I don't have personal knowledge of it but my impression has always been that tOSU is one of those places that will make sure that talented players can stay eligible. Maurice Clarrett was certainly no rocket scientist, this year they lost RB Rod Smith to academics, what is amazing is that they managed to keep him around till his senior year before cutting ties. May have something to do with being a 4* recruit.

Herbie is a goof, but I'd take him over listening to Jesse Palmer tonight.....Musberger is finally working with an analyst with an ego almost as large as his is......

Herbie is actually pretty pro CU. I remember someone this offseason tweeted him that CU was going bowling and he said he hoped so because CFB was better when CU is good.

What Herbie said was that THEY had not seen Ralphie since '96. Thats why they talked about getting back to Boulder.

Relax.

I miss being relevant.

I think Herbie does it more to mess with Fowler than really to diss Colorado. They have a pretty good back and forth on that show.
