I couldn't give a **** less about ECU or UCF, but that was one of the best endings I've ever seen to a football game.

Haaa. You could almost sense it with that clock management. Almost looked easy.

What a great start to this part of the season.

I am all in for the Mizz win and what ever else needs to happen to keep the SEC out. I just think it would be funny and the quickest way to an 8 team playoff. The bubbas down here would go ape **** if one of their beloved conference teams didn't win a spot. I would love that.

Enough to make me root for that prick Pinkel.

As for bailer, I'm the biggest KState fan on the planet this weekend. **** bailer.

Torn on the FSU game-I think Baylor survives K-State, and I think Wisconsin beats OSU. I can't stand crab legs, but if GT wins, does that put Baylor in the playoff?

I really don't think GT has what it takes to beat FSU.

It'll probably be a typical 2014 Semenhole game. Play down to the level of the opponent, make just enough plays to win, and frustrate the hell out of all the people (me included) that hate their dirty asses.

For Baylor to get in, they need to beat KSU and have both Florida State and Ohio State lose.

If that happens - then probably both TCU and Baylor get in.

My knee jerk reaction was "Hell, no!", but given that I am rooting for armageddon and an expansion as quickly as possible, this may be the fastest path to discontent amongst the most players.

Jesus.

I just watched video on ESPN. What was that guy thinking?!? He had primary coverage, and just kind of quit on the play - wow.

Good thing for him that the AAC has more bowl tie-ins or the same bowl tie-ins as eligible teams (one is an either/or situation). I can't even imagine what would have happened to him otherwise.

What happened?

UCF had a big lead heading into the 4th quarter, ECU stormed back with several scores to take the lead. With 16 seconds left, ECU decided not to attempt a 40+ yard FG to go up by 7. Instead took a loss on a sack to run 6 more seconds off the clock. UCF got the ball back at about the 35 with 10 seconds. Hit a slot receiver on a sideline route to get past the 45. Then hit a 50+ yard hail mary on the final play to win it.

Saw the replay, I love how nonchalantly the UCF receiver caught that ball.

some good games and I see some upsets. gt > fsu. az > o. ksu > bu.

I see more hopeful thinking than clear "better thans."

Until FSU falters it is tough to bet against them. I think they are just temperamental and turn it on when they need to. I don't think they are as good as the other elites, though.

It is a tough call about AZ and Oregon. The 14-point underdog thing seems ridiculous, but Vegas knows what it's doing. Then there is also Arizona beating them two years in a row. As Ted Miller wrote in his blog (and an example of why I love having him covering the Pac-12
,) "Ah, but Rodriguez and defensive coordinator Jeff Casteel seem to have some secret sauce for cooking the Ducks."

I hope KSU beats Baylor. But it is in Baylor, and they just hav
e more firepower. It would just be another example of how badass Snyder is as a coach if they win.

That would be awesome.

Awesome except for the 8 team playoff part.

Go KState. :saythat: and I never thought that would happen.

It would be strange if we didn't have any upsets. We'll see at least 1 of the current Top 4 get knocked off and likely at least one of the teams that are currently knocking on the door.

Again, awesome to see the Pac12 playing a game that won't finish until midnight on the east coast. I am in MST, but most of the media is in the EST. I know this topic has been beaten like a rented mule, but I don't want to hear the excuse about "all the time slots are full" that usually accompany this topic. This is a conference title game with playoff implications - why are they not playing it tomorrow afternoon?

Maybe Larry Scott is committed to proving that DirectTV was right that people wouldn't watch the P12 on the east coast.

I'd imagine the stadium will be almost empty. I like the idea of having the games on campus. Didn't they do that last year?

Fox has a very important December college basketball game with NW and Butler to show in the 4:30 pm eastern time zone slot. The PAC-12 football CG can not compete against that.

I know what I would rather watch.

I think it was an awful idea to move the CCG to a neutral site for the PAC. Too far to travel for most and not enough rabid fan support in general. On campus was a great idea for the PAC.

The local radio goons out here were talking about the ACC CCG and that will not be a sell out in CLT. Not enough GT fans will make the 3 hour drive to CLT to watch. Incredible.
