Rank the top 6. Rep to the person who gets it right.

1. Alabama

2. Oregon

3. FSU

4. OSU

5. TCU

6. Bailer

I actually think oregon is playing the best. But the committee wouldn't rank them over Bama. They toyed with a solid arizona team.

1. Oregon
2. Alabama
3. Florida State
4. Ohio State
5. TCU
6. Mississippi State
7. Michigan State
8. Baylor

1. Oregon (12-1)

Baylor should be rated as low as reasonably possible considering the non-conference schedule they elected to play.

If they are blasted (and IMO they should be) then it shows the committee values non conference opponents. I like it!

Osu wins 59-0. Maybe wiscy gets 3 or 7 in garbage TD time. That's freaking dominate.

Bama Oregon fsu osu

I'm not gonna rank 1-4, but I'll give you my semifinals:

Rose: Oregon/Ohio State. Oregon is a no brainer, and Ohio State played their way in. They put 52 points on the number 2 defense in the country with their 3rd string QB.

Sugar: Alabama/Florida State. I can't argue against FSU anymore. Give them this semi and you get geography, Saban vs Jimbo, and the last two National Champions on one field.

TCU wasn't impressive enough, especially against one of the five worst P5 teams in the country. I would have liked to seen them take more control of the ballgame in the first half. Baylor? SMU and Northwestern State. Thats all you have to say.

Would anyone be surprised if Baylor threatened a lawsuit against the Big 12 for not naming them champions, thereby hurting their playoff chances?

1. Florida State
2. Alabama
3. Oregon
4. Ohio State

I do not like Florida State, and they squeak through - barely - too many times. But how does the committee argue with 13-0? And 29 straight wins?

I'm gonna put my personal opinion aside. Here goes my attempt to think like the cfp committee (which includes espin influence, pr wrangling, and regional media bias).

1. bammer
2. Nike u
3. Blowhio st
4. bailer
5. Free shoes u
6. TCU

Will this happen? I have no idea, but it's certainly possible.

Sorry, This isn't the answer you were looking for, but in my world, it's all about the buffs.

So I'll say, I could care less who wins this year but in years to come, I predict we will be saying....
1. CU.

2. Anyone except for Nebraska.

I don't see any reason we can't dream big??

I'm just watching ESPN now, and Holtz and Mark May have to be the last people I'd ever look to for a decent opinion. And here they are, that's goddamn ridiculous.

Ha. Just saw that mine is the same as the OP, NM.

One of these days, mush mouth Lou is gonna piss off that huge former trench warrior, who is then gonna fold Lou in half and stuff him in the breakroom trash compactor.

I would rank them

1. Alabama
2. Oregon
3. FSU
4. TCU

TCU lost @ 11-1 Baylor by 3. Ohio State lost at home to 6-6 Virginia Tech by 14. I believe the Big XII is stronger than the B1G and these two teams have a common opponent: Minnesota. TCU handled them by 23. Ohio State squeaked out a 7 point win.

I have a feeling the committee may do it differently and see it as advantageous to eliminate the Big XII "question" by excluding both.

1. Alabama
2. Oregon
3. FSU
4. Ohio St
5. TCU
6. Baylor

I think those days might be over. They´re solely ranking them based on who they think is the best team right now, early December 2014, and not playing the "but they beat team x by 28 in September, whereas team b only beat them by a field goal at the gun in November" game.

I believe Ohio State is in and the Big 12 screwed both Baylor and TCU with their Merkel-esque noncommittal stance.

I think the threat is all but guaranteed. Biggest bunch of whiners in college sports.

Leave the Big 12 out of the playoffs this year. Let them apply for a waiver to play a conference championship game and establish a true conference champ. Go from there.

They were so determined to hold the conference together, let them pay the price for their arrogance.

The committee will take the "easy" way out and choose OSU....

And, I am a little surprised that nobody in the media has compared today to what happened 13 years ago, when the determination of the final BCS spot came down to three teams.....that was good theater on ESPN, with all three coaches on live when the announcement was made.....

Its all about the money, money.... OSU travels really well...

1. Bama
2. Oregon
3. OSU ..... setting up traditional Rose Bowl opponents
4. FSU

5./6. is a cage fight between Briles, B12 commish, TCU and Bailer hired marketing team... lol... B12 may implode over this.....

1. Bama
2. Oregon
3. FSU
4. Blowhio St.

The Big 12 teams will be pissed but they can thank themselves for that, namely their commish.
