Was looking forward to reading about Bak, and then I read this gut punch, not that I can argue against it. sigh.

"Lang guesses that with the exception of Linsley, each came from a college football also-ran. Sitton went to Central Florida. Lang went to Eastern Michigan. Bakhtiari played at Colorado. “And even though it’s the Pac-12 … ” Lang says. Sitton finishes the thought. “It’s a ****ty football program.” The laughs come even harder this time."

Did you actually read the article? It's a bunch of OLs making fun of each other. That's what OLs do.

And it wasn't Bakhtiari who made the disparaging remark about CU ... it was the guy from Eastern Michigan (yet another of my alma maters that sucks in football ) ... so he has nothing to brag about.

Bak has made it well known his distaste for the program while he was here from what you guys have told me. Doesn't surprise me that his teammates have picked up on that.

Look at Bakhtiari's twitter. That guy has been tweeting all season about the Buffs. Crosby too.

Bak has gotten back on board with being a Buff. Hard to blame him for being pissed at the state of the program in years past.

Then he shouldn't have hid from the problem. Just saying "Colorado Buffaloes" during player introduction is helpful.

That issue has been addressed before. The network records all the introductions in the pre-season or early in the season. They take a number of takes and use the one they pick. Bak like a lot of players did some with CU and a couple with his HS, the network decided to use the HS one.

He probably could have objected and changed it but didn't. Considering how bad we were I don't entirely blame him.

Not a big deal, just glad that he is publicly pumping CU now.

He had a couple of quotes about bad practices where it was a **** show and a lack of discipline and work ethic. Embree was a bad players coach. MM really did a huge turnaround because the senior leadership of the team has been astounding.

Didn't anyone bother to check the date of the article which was in January 2015?

Same date as when the thread was started. The later posts are some follow up showing that Bak is a Buff and probably always was. It's nice to see him promoting the team a bit.
