Nelson Spruce returning to CU Buffs football for senior season

moved from newsroom. Great, great news. Our WR corp really couldn't lose him.

Looking forward to seeing Nelson at the top of all the CU WR records... and doing it with a winning senior season.

Amen. And being a finalist for the Biletnikoff AND being drafted in the 1st 2 classes of the NFL draft! Why not?

Looking through the records he could set in the article, if he has a ridiculous game against Hawaii, he could have all of them in the first game of the season. Doubt it happens, but not completely out of the question. 9+ Catches, 255+ yards and 3 TDs

Never heard of him. Is he any good?

Awesome news. I'd actually thought it was already a done deal but the confirmation is nice.

I am more looking forward to Scotty McKnight not owning a record than anything. Spruce is a much better player.

Good to have him back but not at all surprising.

Great news.

May this work out huge for Nelson. Buffs can make a bowl. Would be a life long memory for any player, but especially for these long suffering players, and us fans.

Karma to this decision, and Nelson.

Buffs its time. Win in 2015!

Best news for a buff fan in years. We needed him back badly.

Dude. Scotty played his ass off and was a great Buff and shows Buff pride. Don't cap on him because you didn't like Hawk.

Scotty was a product of having no receiving talent around him. Spruce is better. Just a fact. Sorry, I do probably have some negative feelings for the Hawkins-McKnight connection.

I would take last year's CU team over the last year McKnight was here. That team played in a weak Big XII. Would have had major issues in this Pac 12. Still both teams sucked.

Who knows? There are plenty of co-eds equal to or greater than her at CU I am sure.

I don't know, man, Hayden P is on my list of 5 as a married guy - and to no surprise my wife has zero issues with it.
