CU opens the season against Hawaii, but the game has been moved.

It is now Thursday, September 3rd. 7pm Hawaii time. No TV has been announced.

Bet lots of folks on the east coast will watch a game that goes from 1-4am EST. Wow.

Multiple reasons apparently. 1 of which was giving us more time to get home and over the jet lag. Want extra time because of 13 weeks straight of football. Probably a smart overall idea. Sucks for that one game though.

It is the Buffs opener so **** work on Friday! I will be up and sauced watching, yelling and hoping we continue to improve. Go Buffs!

This could work out with respect to the team getting time to rest up after the long road trip prior to the home opener. Have to beat Hawaii. I'll also be taking Friday off for a nice long holiday weekend.

no issues here.

- no competition on TV. only hardcore Buff fans and football junkies would watch this game anyway, and only if nothing else was on. I predict more people will watch this now than they would've in the Saturday day slot.
- extra rest following the island trip is a damn good reason. smart move by ADRG and HCMM.
- for those of you this is too late for, DVR the damn game and get up 1.5 hours earlier Friday morning.

Thursday night football!

:thumbsup2:

3-4 years ago, we would be playing on Labor Day night and then playing again on Friday night. This is progress.

I like the move to Thursday, but I hate the time. I know they are college kids, and as close to invincible as possible, but how f-ed up are their internal clocks going to be playing a game at 11 PM?

Also, since it is an earlier kick-off do we get to open camp a few days earlier?

Freaking MB. What s joke. The master scheduler. Loved when he sprinkled in a one and done at the Shoe with Ohio St., too.

Why am I not surprised? Our opening game has moved days in the last 5 years more than any other school (no hyperbole).

Good maybe that means instead of P12N they'll put it on a channel I actually get.

You have links from 3 months ago in your back pocket? I hardly remember what I read 3 days ago.

gmail search FTW!

my dad and I emailed that one back and forth -- sports and frugality are the only conversation topics we both find interesting.

Sucks for me, but if it gives the Buffs a better shot at starting the season 2-0 there's very little they can't put me through as a fan. I'll put up with just about anything to see wins.

The football gods hate us. Our sacrafice of two virgins was not good enough.
You haven't heard? Turns out they weren't virgins. Who knew? That's the last time we put The Junta in charge of finding virgins.
