After a rough first half and poor shooting game in eugene, the buffs are back in action tonight against the beavers. Look for a low scoring affair. Key to this one will be wether or not CU (Dom & XT) can break down OSU's 2-3 Zone.

Tip is at 9, Go Buffs!

This really is the Buffs' last chance to try and crawl up the conference standings to a bit of respectability. I won't even try to speculate on the potential pathways to an outcome - the Buffs just need to find a way to win.

Should be a low scoring game. Buffs have forgotten how to shoot and OSU rarely scores above the 60s.

Mentioned this in another thread, but in 14 Pac games OSU's high score is 66 and they've only reached 60 three times. OSU has narrowly escaped teams like Wazzu and USC in Corvallis. There's a window here for a nice road win if the Buffs choose to seize it. OSU isn't going to be up for us like they were against Arizona or Utah. That said, this hasn't been an easy place to play and we may well end up struggling to get out of the 40s if we keep the abysmal shooting from Eugene going.

So Buffnik-- Hypothetical speaking, say you were down to your last $22.17 in your Carbon Poker, online Sports Book account.... Would you go all in on an under of 115 points???? My heart says go under, but that seems like a really low number (Other option is Buff's getting 2.5pts)

I'll let someone else handle this question. I have absolutely zero read on this Buffs team.

115 is about 4'pts higher than anywhere else I've seen. Opened at most places at 108, purely value speaking Under 115 is a great play.

I jacked around too much. It moved down to 111.5 in a snap of the fingers. Apparently someone else saw the value.

But it's tadball, so guess I'll jump in. I think cheering for shots NOT to go in during this game will be a lot less frustrating than anything else I might be pulling for.

I'd take the over. The Buffs are on the verge of complete collapse. If the shots don't fall early, the defensive effort will be gone and osu will score lots. If the shots do fall, the buffs will score enough to get to the over.

edit: but who knows with this team?

OSU is not the team that's going to "score lots". They are like the 322nd offensive team in the country.

I understand they suck. But if a team gives up, it's pretty easy to score on them. I'm not saying the buffs are going to give up, but if the shots aren't falling, I could see that happening.

If we can be get them into foul trouble, this could be a good game for the buffs, the rotation at OSU is about 6 players deep.

UCLA couldnt quite get over the hump in arizona, fall to the cats after storming back in the second half.

How does the ref swallow the whistle on a play when Ski gets smacked in the face? Unreal what they miss at times. Looks like they're going to allow a lot of slapping and grabbing in this one. Going to play into a low scoring game.

2 points in 5 minutes. Buffs on pace to score 16 in tonight's game.

This is sad watching Josh right now. Got his shot blocked twice on the last possession. He's gutting it out playing pretty much flat footed at this point.
