What was the name of the last kid whose speed we had a big debate on?

Obviously, for his size and position, those are good times - if he was hopping on one leg or running backward.

What gives?

Can't say I love the speed either, but I'm thinking he's more of a short yardage back that grows into the 225+ range. A 10 yard time and 3 cone would probably be more telling for what we'd want from him in that case.

In the mold of a Christian Powell, Aaron Baltazar, "thunder" back to some of the smaller faster "lightning" guys we've offered for the '16 class. Think White Rabbit's projection is probably on point.

Yeah, seems like this staff likes to replace players who play certain roles. Powell graduating after this season and I could see this kid fitting in that role.

His speed is roughly equivalent to certain offensive guards CU has signed in the past. Nope, check that, slower...by a half second in the 100!!!
