I think that "Freddy" is the nickname he's going by and his real name is "Aminiasi". That's how I've seen the only "Livai" listed on some of the Miller HS rosters.

Even with that, I couldn't find much of anything on him other than MLB/DE at 6'3" 240.

This is a guy we want on the CU team. His coach helped him out by taking him to the Las Vegas Rivals Camp. Adam had a very interesting and insightful interview with Livai's coach in a new article:

"Freddy is still kind of an under-the-radar recruit, in my opinion, but once more people start to see the special things that he does, he'll blow up," Nast said. "He really likes Colorado and everything they have to say. I know he is interested in a program that is family based. He also likes USC and how it is a competition there every day. He is big on constant competition and a family atmosphere."

Also of note, Livai was recognized as one of the Top 10 defensive performers at that Rivals camp (and there were a lot of big time prospects in attendance).

Recruiting wrap: Livai has a Colorado offer and interest from New Mexico.

Performance: The three-star prospect might have been the fastest lineman in the event. He was a force off the edge, using explosive steps to wreak havoc on offensive tackles. When they managed to engage him, the 6-foot-3, 240-pound Livai was strong enough to work his way through to the backfield.

Hopefully a legit 6'3". We need more ends.

From what little I understand about the new "Jack" linebacker spots in Leavitt's defense, Livai seems to fit what they're looking for in that hybrid DE/OLB spot.

Livai plans to attend as many camps as possible this summer. He will be at the Buffaloes' satellite camp at the University of Redlands on June 1.

"He really likes Colorado and everything they have to say," Nast said. "[Buffs special teams] coach [Toby] Neinas stopped by here recently and they are very interested in him. I can't see why they wouldn't be. He is just a physical specimen.
