This kid can go anywhere. Odds are not high, and even though we haven't "officially offered" him, we've been watching him for a LONG time. Odds are roughly one in a million, but you never know.

Sounds like Rabb & Caleb Swanigan (5*, Top 10 player, Center) are going to team up at Cal next year.

Cal just got more interesting.

These rumors have been getting some more steam since Rabb got to be favoring Cal. The kicker for me is Brown - he may join them.

FWIW - I rarely believe the entire notion of players committing to a school together, but then Okafor and Jones happened. However, the two of them were pretty consistent in saying they were going to the same school for a long time. The trio of Rabb, Swanigan and Brown seem to be more of a wishful thought.

I want the PAC12 to get as much talent as possible though. However, Swanigan should go to Duke instead :)

I just saw on Twitter that if Tyrone Wallace returns to school then rabb will pick cal but if he leaves then rabb to zona.

So ironic Wallace was a homeless man's Askia Booker this past season, decision should be the other way around.

What??? How did you come up with this theory?

A comparison:
Wallace (Jr.)Booker (Sr.)

Pac 121st Team2nd Team
2015 PPG17.117.2
2015 APG3.963.2
2015 RPG7.13.3
2015 TO's PG2.82.3
2015 Blocks112
Team Rec.18-1516-18
* Sr. Benched multiple times for conduct during Sr. season

Rabb signed with Cal 30 minutes ago.

While Im aware that 6-8 years ago, we never would have been on this kids radar, it's time to stop being "right there" or "just missing out" on recruits of this caliber. almost stealing home doesnt count, and close only matters in hand grenades.

You weren't "right there" or "just missed out"... In fact you were miles and miles away. Rabb only seriously considered Arizona and Cal. Never was Rado a serious contender for him.

Shucks, you just missed out! It's alright, you were right there. Thanks for visiting!

The Cat used the weird "Rado" thing that no one understands, but his point was valid. We were nowhere near close on this one. De'Ron Davis would have been a better example to use on the "Tad needs to close these guys" argument.

Meh. Would have been nice to get him but it doesn't make or break our world like it did for Cal. We still have a top 3 class. Rabb shoots Cal's class ranking... Up to 16. Arizona will still destroy the conference again next season.

Exactly. We are being murdered in conference with recruiting right now. Not even close.

"Homeless" was hyperbole but Booker and Wallace were the 2 highest usage players in the Pac-12 this year and Booker was markedly more efficient than Wallace was offensively. Wallace also had a lower assist rate and turned the ball over on more of his possessions than Booker did, so the question remains why would Rabb who in theory should want the ball, predicate his decision on staying on whether or not the only player in the league who was a bigger black hole them Booker stayed.

Because teenagers don't care about advanced stats unless they're math nerds

I was talking about your championship chances.

His point was valid for this guy, but there's a whole stable of guys that we were close on.
Buddy Hield
Ryan Spangler
Tyler Dorsey
Shane Larkin

And on and on. The point still stands. Close aint going to cut it if we'd like to win.

I know I'm a week late, but I fixed the mistakes in your post.
