Just got the email, basketball season ticket decision time has begun..
Thank you for your support of the Colorado men’s basketball program. We are excited that you were able to help us sell out season tickets for men’s basketball last season for the second time in the history of the program! There are a few changes for the 2015-16 season that may affect your account.

  • There are 17 regular season home games this season, one more than last season.
  • Season ticket prices are increasing between $15 and $50 per seat, depending on the price level. The Buff Club seat contribution portion will not be increasing. Overall cost increases per seat range between 37 and 44 cents per game.
  • We are continuing our partnership with Ballena Technology to use a Seats3D view of Coors Events Center for the seat upgrade/add/change process. The online process puts you in full control of where you move your seats within the arena. Time slots are set up for entry to the system based upon priority point rank as determined by your Buff Club annual giving level and priority point total as of June 5, 2015. We will be continuing to communicate details on the process as we approach the upgrade time frame which will begin at the end of June.
The schedule for the 2015-16 season will be announced by the Pac-12 office by early September.
Please note that the priority due date for renewals this year is Friday, June 5, 2015. In order to establish your priority point ranking for the Seats3D process and to ensure that we have secured your seat location for the upcoming season, please renew your seats no later than June 5, 2015. We are very excited about the upcoming season and look forward to seeing our loyal fans!

is men's basketball not showing up for anyone else? All I have is women's volleyball and women's basketball in my renewal list.

It showed up for me, but every time I tried to move on it gave me an error saying I had to choose a delivery mode - and there was no option to choose delivery mode.

Strange, it hiccuped for a bit then worked fine. FYI, volleyball tickets have more than doubled (to 40$)

so I have soccer and volleyball under my renewal options but not men's and women's basketball I just send them an email.

edit: and now it looks like the renewal website has crashed.

There is a little drop down box where you can choose "mail" or "will call" ... once you do that you can complete the process

email I got was that there's still a $25 GA option for VB, but I haven't looked yet.

After you add it to cart you can do that. It won't let me add it to the cart.

A few questions/thoughts mixed with venting:

- Is this the right time to raise ticket prices? I'm a big fan, but raising my tickets $50 per seat feels like a slap in the face coming off the season we had. Sure we sold out our season tickets last year, but I have to think plenty of fans will not be renewing based on attendance later in the year. It would have been a no-brainer for me to renew if the price stayed the same.

- Will more fans just get tickets off StubHub? I'm thinking about it. Aside from the Arizona game, I could have saved a lot of money just buying them on the secondary market.

- Is XJ the player you want to promote on the e-mail? Didn't exactly make me excited for next season.

It's looking like we'll give up our seats this year. The kid just has too much other stuff going on. Towards the end of last year, it was nearly impossible to get to the games. Of the 20 or so games we had tickets to, we probably only made, as a family, 6 or 7. Just not worth the investment anymore. It's not that we didn't enjoy the games we did go to, it's just become a matter of priorities getting mixed up.

I feel bad.

I hope this is finally the year I can get a larger bloc of seats. I want 4 or 5 versus my current 2.

Buy the tickets and give them as a contribution to the program. They will find underprivileged kids who will use them. That is what I do with my football season tickets.

Wonder if I can do that with my WBB tickets that I buy and don't use because I live out of state?

Definitely. I believe it is Ralphie's kids. I deal with a great guy in Rick's office to make it happen.

This is my hope. The two seats next to me have been season tickets for years, but have only been filled 10% of the time. So either it's someone looking to just donate or it's the worst scalpers ever.

As in AD Rick George? I know I wouldn't be going to Boulder after January. Would keep the tickets for when I might attend.

Anyone know if the women's sports season ticket deal (vb/bb/soccer) count as double points?

There were <$20 tix for the Zona game on StubHub the day of the game. $50 isn't much but it is the principle. They lost me as a football season ticket holder a few yrs ago when they raised prices even though they were already more expensive than the open market. That said, I'm not going to stop boosting Buffs hoops after just 1 bad yr.

Or someone like me who loves the program but no longer lives in the area.

Just renewed my seats. For some reason, it came up without a space for notes. I'll need to make a call and see if there is a way to add a seat this year.
