Cal Recruiting Class

Martin is absolutely killing it out in the bay area for new recruits. He's got the best recruiting class in the p12 coming in next year.
Also, just got swanigan, who is "waiting for a spot" to open up at cal. Wonder who is leaving, as they've given out everything they can this year.

2015 Class
Tyson Jolly
Ivan Rabb (top ten nationally)
Jaylen Brown (top ten nationally)
Davon Dillard (Top 25 nationall)
Caleb Swanigan (top ten nationally)

While there seems to be issues with dillard that may force him into a juco this year, that's a bunch of huge gets in Berkeley.

Looks like an amazing class.

Seen lots of Cal history though. Waiting for this one to crash and burn.

Might be wishful thinking but we have seen it happen before when bad programs suddenly have an amazing looking class on paper.

Like the time Cal had two lottery picks and got bounced in the first round in the tourney? That's probably the only time Cal's had this much talent on the roster in modern times.

Pac 10 was stacked back the 90's. Hope it becomes that again.

Swanigan seems like a weird guy. All over the place.

Swanigan's Godfather/guardian is a Purdue guy all the way. Once he decommitted from MSU there was little chance of him going anywhere else. On a team of great athletes, he wasn't an ideal fit. He's skilled, but lumbering. His best case would be Zach Randolphish.

Didn't Cal's recruiting coordinator get hit for prostitution recently? If so, you can almost guarantee that a certain amount of rule-breaking has occurred Cal to recruit a class like this. $$$

That was football.

Where are you seeing Dillard as top 25 nationally? He's not in the top 100 on Scout, ESPN or Rivals. The class is good, but not what you initially posted with Swanigan staying in Indiana.

Cal poster didn't even acknowledge that Kidd and Co. got Cal on probation. Coach who's name i forget. which is kinda a sub-theme developing....in this thread. todd bozeman. yeah, i'm gonna watch that youtube.

i'm not sure how stacked the Pac was in the 90's. Harrick, probation. U of A was good. Monty's Stanford teams were usually overrated. Brevin Knight team had a decent tournament. Ridnour/Luke Jackson was pretty good....Romar had a good team. UW had nice surprise run with that guy who was a Coach K assistant....who then got replaced by Romar. what am i missing?

i'd say the Pac was tough in the late 90's. i'm not quite as ready to haul and off go airbrush gush hooray forever on the Pac just because we are in it.

and i'm seeing a lot of probation here....Harrick, Cal....i thought we left the cheater conference.

this is all off the top of my head. if some is wrong. that's Mick.

some modicum of reality is still respected.

Best class, after Arizona. Yes, I agree.

The coaches name was Todd Bozeman had solid teams with Kidd and the forward that played for Vancouver
