As was suggested in the construction thread, an all in one thread to keep brick orders and ideas makes more sense than loading them up in the Construction Update thread.

Buff Walk Rendering

I don't know if it will go all the way to the creek, but definitely from Colorado Ave past the east side of Folsom.

From the article: "Legacy Bricks will be installed along the new Buff Walk on the east side of Folsom Field, creating a unique passageway that will connect Colorado Avenue all the way to Boulder Creek."

I wonder where it ends at the creek. Maybe connect to the path that leads to the outdoor practice fields?

Just ordered mine. Too many kids, so could not get all their names on the logo brick. Had to go with the plain large brick.

Typed with thumbs.

Did Mike Bohn ever initiate any sort of fundraising efforts of this nature? It's such a simple idea that has a lot of potential.

Ha, you said Bohn, initiate and efforts all in one sentence, funniest post of the year! Bonus points for all of that in one, but you missed the sarcasm font.

We barely fit with the CU logo. Can't have any more kids i guess.

Just ordered a logo brick for my family of 3. Also got the replica and display case for the man cave.

I have to think these will sell out quickly, especially when you consider all the businesses in the Denver-Boulder metro that will buy one.

Hehe. "sell out quickly".

No. These will not sell out quickly. They won't ever sell out. They could sell a million of these things and they'd still be finding new places for them. I wouldn't worry about them selling out.

Haha.

Alright -- "bricks for the Buff Walk footprint will sell out quickly".

I was actually thinking about how, assuming this is successful, it's going to lead to similar things in front of the Keg and elsewhere.

This thing is supposed to go from Colorado to Boulder Creek and looks to be like 10 ft wide. How many bricks would they have to sell for them to have no more room?

I just ordered mine! Feels like I've actually purchased something rather than just donating to a fundraising campaign. Where would we be without Rick George?

Will be ordering one this week. Haven't read the article about it yet, but during the tour a few weeks ago they told us there would be some type of interactive map or website where you can look up your brick location and see others so you'll know where yours is without having to go searching for it.

I might have to go all Freemason and strategically place bricks in the same proportion as the belt of Orion.

I definitely want to get one. I'm stumped on what to put on it though. What have some others done?

First Attempt:
GO BUFFS!!!
WIN OR LOSE

I did the family name as the first line and the 3 first names of the family members as the next 3 lines. Since I only needed 4 spots, I was able to do the logo brick.
