8:00 PM – Gates Open Admission is Free!

8:30 PM – The Mighty Twisters, Mad Hops jump rope team, and everybody’s favorite, Ralphie!

The fireworks will begin as soon as it’s dark, approximately 9:40 PM.

We will also have the Boy Scouts Color Guard to present the colors for the National Anthem, to help us remember the real reason for this celebration.

One of the things that sucks about having a young child is that this is way too late to go. Looking forward to this becoming a family tradition in a few years, though. I miss it.

We just made the same determination for the fireworks show where we are at today.

Rain, now wind. No fireworks. And one AWFUL, AWFUL band. Thanks Wright Kingdom! I'll be using Re/Max or Colorado Landmark.

We had just left when they finally started. We crossed under Broadway and watched from the top of the steps.

It worked out well though since we caught a Skip within seconds of making it to the bus stop. Quickest exit we've ever had.

Just checked out the Folsom Cam. Was there anyone there tonight? It looks totally empty. Were the people all in the south end? I saw one shot of the fireworks at around 10:15 or so. The fireworks looked like they were northeast of the stadium. Maybe the people were in the southwest. I hope.

The show finally went off and it was good. Close and good. The new construction might have some singes in places. The band still sucked, though. USA! USA!

People were leaving after the announcement of the wind delay.

The fireworks were good once they finally got started. Disappointed they didn't run Ralphie due to "environmental conditions". I was about to bail if they wheeled that band back out for a third time.

Was it this bunch.

Looks and sounds like the bunch who never was any good but decided they wanted to be in a band. Then they knew somebody who didn't know better and booked them.
