My prediction for Nowledge University for 2007
at Wake Forest - close - could go either way
USC - better luck next week with Ball State
at Missouri - Pinky finally wins one
Texas A&M - will Husker fans stick around after the loss to applaud the Aggies
as they go through the exit or will they skewer Cally's fat ass?
at Texas - ya kiddin?
at Kansas - Frank Cannon look alike Mangino does it again in Lawerence

7 - 5 and a trip to the Toilet Bowl
Go Big Red!

Until they actually win a big game or beat a ranked opponent, I agree that they are a five loss team.

USC and Wake are probable losses. UT is nearly for certain. eaTme and Mizzou could also take a bite of the corn. Best case scenario the corn goes 9-3. They could easily drop all five of these and another and end up 6-6.

But you have them beating CU. I bet you are in the minority with that one on this board.

I'm giving Hawkins a full 3 years to turn around our program - no quick fix.
I believe in him and think he will reward those who give him time. I know this will be unpopular, but a .500 season sounds about right, although I would love it if Hawkins proves me wrong. Remember he really has only one recruiting class, and Bill McCartney - who I think is a pretty good judge of what Hawkins is facing - said it would take 3 years minimum. Alot of CU fans forget, but it took him years before he was able to recruit the big dogs. Tom Lemming rated CU's 92 class #2 in the nation. Koy Detmer, Rashaan Salaam, Heath Irwin, Matt Lepsis, Chris Naeole, Shannon Clavelle, Greg Jones, Matt Russell, and Sam Rogers were members of the 1992 class. Those are the kind of players it takes to be a Top 10 team.

Who gives a flying ****?

A slutty stewardess?? :smile2:

I, personally, might give a flying **** if people would bother to at least mention the Buffs in the prognosticating about the corn. Otherwise, I believe this is still a buff board...

You made my point much more eloquently than I ever could.

**** Nebraska. I think Mizzou wins the north this year and COlorado beats NU. Everybody thinks NU is some great team again. They lost 5 ****ing games last year and had to use trick plays to beat a bad CU team. 5 years ago you see a NU team with 5 losses and everybody calls for the coach.

Oh the mighty have fallen!

Beat SOMEBODY NEBRASKA!

There we go!

Nevada Lincoln
Wake Forest Winston-Salem - NU beats Wake, Nevada, close games, solid teams, catching NU at the right time, NU wins both but either team could get it done on any given day.

Southern Cal Lincoln - U$C has a definite edge but it is in Lincoln.... if NU catches a break or 4 it could go their way. USC should win.

Ball State Lincoln - Didn't they lose to Montana State? NU wins big.

Iowa State Lincoln - ISU has a lot of things to get fixed but they have talent on O, Chizic does know how to beat NU could be closer than you think. NU wins a competitive game but creates doubt about NU's talent and coaching before the showdown with Misery.

Missouri Columbia - puleassssse, when has mizzu done anything?? until they earn it they are not a factor, I do not believe the hype, I have heard this **** before, NU is a better program, NU has pinkle on their side to help out. NU by 10 but its never close.

Oklahoma State Lincoln - They proved it last year, their staff has NU's number, close, tough, hard fought game but NU is at home, I take NU

aTm Lincoln - NU squeaked by at aTm last year, NU's D should be coming round by then, NU wins.

Texass Austin - UT was lucky last year at Lincoln, UT has a better program, will be a battle, NU will rise to the occasion but UT is too strong in the end at home... OSU will have exposed something.... UT wins.

Kansas Lawrence - last two years neither team played well enough to win but somebody has too so I will say NU in what will surely be the worst played game of the year.

Kansas State Lincoln -Not in Lincoln, not with that QB, Cally and NU want blood be it right or wrong... NU wins while taking as many hits to the QB as they can blitz up.

Colorado Boulder - NU wins, CU will be playing well but just not deep enough yet to beat NU but Hawk gives Cally some of his own medicine with trickery.

by my prediction NU goes 10-2 but saying that I dont believe it.... NU will dump at least one more somewhere along the way for a 9-3 regular season.

8-4, Alamo Bowl. lurk around the bottom 5 of the top 25, NU fans will be on all conference boards posting "we're back" and "wait til Callahan gets his players for the *system*".

they lose 6 of those. then come here absolutely needing a win for the sake of a bowl game.

i just hope CU gives them a game. that'll scare the hell out of them

**** that, I have been through too many games where we just "scare" NU by giuving them a good game. We owe them a lot of ****ing beatdowns, and I wont settle for even a 1 point loss to those inbreds.

you are going to have to revise that prediction to account for the loss of moe... in addition, reference your own feedback of the mizzou team and apply it to the red. they also have accomplished nothing for some time, and therefore deserve no benefit of the doubt for any of the above games.

The North is there for the taking...period! Somebody just has to jump up and take it. Any team who comes into the season assuming they will run away with it is sorely mistaken.

Go Buffs...I believe!

yep, and NU is no better than CU was in the early 2000's. A mediocre team playing in a weak division Still able to come ready to play in a lot of confrence games, not win big games, likely to lose to anybody (including Colorado), and lose 3-6 games per year. And any NU fan that doesn't understand that does not know their own team or anything about college football.

in 2001 the north division had 2 teams in bcs bowls including the national championship.

that ain't weak. we just got to get back to that.

Well the last two times you've played in Columbia they have showed that you corn boys can take it up the ass(41-24 ass whooping both times). I believe it is highly likely the pattern will continue since they haven't gotten significantly worse and you haven't gotten significantly better since the pattern began.
Mizzou will hang another 41 on your boys so they should think about bringing some lube with them when they head down to Columbia again this year.

Hey, chin up! In '08 you guys will be able to trick play your way out of another tight one at home against the tiggers.

Hell, all we have to do is toss a buffett of boogers on the field....Chase "Booger" Daniel won't know which one to eat first.

ha, Nu was overatted that year and CU exposed them. NU should not have been in the NC.

But ok, in 2002, the north was good with CU and KSU, but after that the north has been weak at best. It is not a good division. Boise St could have won the North in 2004, 2005 and 2006.

very true. the north just needs to put together another string of seasons like 01 and 02. and i think it can happen in the next few years.

and of course boise state did beat OU who won the whole conference in 2006
