I'm sure Houston is a cool city, but I don't understand why or how we're losing guys to UH. This is the second guy in three years right?

More than that. Houston is building new facilities, has had recent success, and is telling recruits that they're going to be a Big 12 member within the next couple years.

I don't think CU was recruiting the C position all that hard with the low numbers this year, though. Lynott is pegged to be a C who takes over for Kelley and we're only taking a few OLs.

I don't know about previous years but Houston is recruiting extremely well under Herman, getting several recruits over P5 teams, we're no exception. They even have a 5-star commit, although there's some family connections there. But they have 8 5.6rr+ commits at the moment (most, if not all, have P5 offers)

So if a team builds new facilities, has some recent success and already is in a P5 conference they might have big gains in recruiting too? #CUin16

I don't see how this is so hard. A lot of Texas kids don't want to leave the state. He likes Houston and the program. Not every kid is floored with a Power 5 offer.

He's staying home. Just like we want elite Colorado kids to stay home and probably for the same reasons we think Colorado kids should stay home.
