Three-star athlete Tayler Hawkins has hit double digits with 10 offers but the Palm Springs, Calif., standout has decided to start focusing on a list of favorites. Hawkins said he now has a top five of Arizona State, Washington, Washington State, Colorado and San Diego State. He's going to take his time through the recruiting process but those schools stand out at this point.

Agree with you guys, think he ends up at safety. Measured in at 6-foot-0, 185-pounds on his official and while he is a bit lanky, I've heard he has the frame to grow into a decent sized Pac-12 safety. Would be a good pick-up for the Buffs, and would be surprised if he isn't on CU's commit by the end of the week.

Neg Rep if it doesn't happen!

does this mean the family wants Tayler closer to home?.

No, CU is still his No. 1 and Washington State is his No. 2 right now so location is not a factor. I got the sense his family just wanted him to check out at least one other program before making a decision. Plus, Neinas was responsible for his recruitment... this will give him a little more time to get to know Charles Clark, who has taken over his recruitment for the Buffs.
