CU Soccer v CSU & CC in Colorado Cup

Thanks for posting. I'm still in the process of updating the schedules on the site.

Anyone going to the CC match at Prentup?

Yes, with the whole family or at least my 10 year old son.

Remember that for the first time there will be an admission charge of $5 per person. Apparently there are season tickets beginning at $25 or you can get a women's sports pass (for soccer, volleyball and women's basketball) for $125.

Just to put the basics into this thread. From the article noted in the OP:

"
QUICKLY: The University of Colorado women’s soccer team opens its 2015 campaign with back-to-back Colorado Cup tournament matches. The Buffaloes first travel to Fort Collins to face Colorado State at 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 21 and then return for their home opener at Prentup Field on Sunday, Aug. 23 against Colorado College at 3:30 p.m.
...
"

And, as mentioned in the OP, great to see it looks like there IS live streaming (and of course live stats) for both matches. From the article:

"

A few notes from what I can see of the above post's starting 11 tweet:

1) Looks like Coach Sanchez continues to like populating the back line with players converted from other positions (worked great with Tori Cooper last year!), as senior Kahlia Hogg was, if I remember correctly, mainly used in the midfield last year, while it looks like she may be a middle back today (assuming the lineup in the above tweet is from the backline (or goalie) forward, which it otherwise looks to be).
2) Canadian Sarah Kinzner looks to be the sole freshman starter, while transfer junior Danica Evans also gets a start in her 1st match as a Buff.
3) Looks like the starting 11 also contains 2 sophomores in defender Joss Orejel and forward Brittney Stark.
(So, 8 juniors or senior starters and 3 freshmen/ sophomores.)

where the **** is the camera on this stream... Denver? what a joke... who puts a camera at the corner flag and streams the entire game from there....

That header- so close right before halftime.

Buffs will have to pick it up in the 2nd half.

Live stats (at least to halftime) now showing for me. Looks like Buffs with a 13-5 shots advantage.

Video just buffering. Per livestats, Buffs just got 1st shot of the 2nd half by either team almost 15 minutes in. Pick up the pressure!

Video just started working for me again. Only 2 shots for the Buffs this half with it more than 1/2 gone.
