For the two that picked the Badgers over the Tide, is it that you see Wisconsin taking a significant step forward, or Bama taking a step back? Both?

I have trouble seeing a Wisconsin win, in what will feel like a Bama home game (btw, Hkylw, this is the one at Jerry World. ASU/A&M is at NRG Stadium in Houston). They always have a solid run game, but losing Gordon and breaking in a new coaching staff won't be pleasant against Saban and Alabama.

You're right on locale, my bad. Too many games I'm pumped to watch next weekend, it's hard to keep them straight.

They won't need to score much with that D, which Saban thinks is that best they have ever had, and Derrick Henry will put points on the board. Not a Bama or Saban fan at all but I think they will have a good year.

No doubt they will have a good year, I just think that Wiscy is good enough to take advantage of a very young offense in week 1.

I don't see ASU rolling A&M. They are going to be sneaky good this year just in a really tough division so people may not notice.

Thurs Night
NC v. SC - hope I'm wrong, but the SEC team at home wins the night game.
Utes v. Mich- coin flip, but I'll stick with the home team at night.

Fri Night
Sparty v. W. Mich - it's in Michigan, no home-field advantage for the Eagles. Sparty rolls.
UW v. Boise- yep. Boise blue fired up for this one.

Sat
Stanford v. NW- Wildcats put up a fight, Stanford puts it away in the 3rd
BYU v Neb- home opener in Lincoln. Huskers pull it out.
Louis v Aub- hope I'm wrong again, but Tigers win big
ASU v. A&M- Devils win in Houston
ND v. Tex- in the battle of future ACC members, Notre Dame wins
Wisc v Bama- Once again, hope I'm wrong, but Tide rolls.

Mon
OSU v. VA Tech- tOSU lays the worst beat-down on the Hokies in the history of Lane Stadium. Really, really hope I'm wrong, but i don't think so.

It should be a fun game to watch as far as the battle of the trenches go. Next weekend cannot get here fast enough.

NC v. SC - Gonna be a rough year for Spurrier....Tar Heels
Utes v. Mich- Utah wins handily

In other football news, Tim Beckman was just fired by Illinois...the season starts in a week.

Edit: Illinois says that it's "for cause" and will not pay him any of remaining money. I can't wait to hear the rest of this one.

Thurs Night
NC v. SC - GameCocks as the old ball coach finds a way
Utes v. Mich- Utah, but MU fans point to progress

Fri Night

Mon
OSU v. VA Tech- OSU wins big.

The QB situation will cost them at least two games this season. This is a year where they take a step back.

I'm gonna watch a lot of football in between sitting on a beach and drinking beer.

Michigan's offense in 2015 might make our 2012 offense look decent

Our 2012, 2013, and 2014 was close to beating Utah. Like I said we'll see. I am not a Michigan fan. I do think Utah will be a bust this year (relative to last year I mean).

Doesn't change our offense being a disaster in 11 and 12

Same issue as usual for the Hokies: horrid offense. The D will be as excellent as ever, but no one is beating Ohio State unless they can put up points.
