NDSU is better than a lot of FBS and Montana's one of the best FCS programs. Could be a damn good game.

It's also long-time Mines HC Bob Stitt's debut as the HC at Montana where he'll bring his creative offense to the next level. #StittHappens

Should be a good one. I saw Oregon and NDSU are set to play in 2020, can't wait for that lol.

Go Griz! It's going to be really smoky in Missoula today from the wildfires. im looking forward to see what Stitt can do with Montana.

Another side note is Ty Gregorak coaching the D as Coordinator. The Griz have had the lowest scoring defense in the Big Sky for the past 4 years. He has really come back from his earlier party issues.

The announcers said that stitt had an innovative offense. Can someone familiar with him tell me what they mean?

He is pretty much the offensive genius responsible for the increase of warp speed offenses.

He managed to win a lot of games at Mines, a place were very few teams had been any good for a long time.

He should be able to get the kind of talent at Montana to be better than he was at Mines. The talent he inherited though was not recruited for his style, might take him some time.

Also not exactly the team you want to open up against with a completely different offense against a North Dakota State team that could beat a good number of bad BCS level teams.

They beat Iowa State last year, Kansas State in 2013, and CSU in 2012. all on the road.

Helluva TD drive there to tie it up. Great game so far. Whenever it looks like NDSU is going to take control, UM responds.

NDSU is impressive. They don't rattle easily. They're a very confident football team.

Great game thus far.
I hope Montana pulls it out...their freshman QB is amazing! And I'll get killed for saying this, but NDSU's qb reminds me a lot of Favre.

They should be talented, they have been beating just about everybody they play for a few years now.

NDSU is overall a much more talented team that Montana is and has the advantage of knowing their system very well.

Very impressive coaching job by Stitt, win or lose. This game shouldn't have been this close.
