Having a massive cold and a newborn in the house...do I watch it at 11:00 pm or DVR it and wake up early to watch it and fast forward through teh commercials?

Record it, wake up with baby every other hour, FF the commercials. That's my plan.

You watch the damn game live...WTF? break that baby in right and man up on the cold *****.

Edit: don't go around the word filter

If you watch it on DVR - you can't rejoice with the rest of AllBuffs when the Buffs take the bows behind the woodshed.

don't get the DVR hate. Assuming you're watching on TV at home, not having real time electronic/social-media contact with Allbuffs and others is the only negative, and that's a very small negative compared with the bonus of (a) getting 1.5 hours of commercials and half time back (b) watching on my schedule and not the network's.

Go Buffs!

Edit: meant to also quote Colobuffs21. AB2.0 and I don't get along for quoting purposes.

I've waffled on this myself, but I know that I won't be able to sleep anyway, so LIVE it is!

We're gonna win!
Thats where I'm at. I was thinking that I would sleep and watch it first thing in the morning, but I know I'll be up all night checking the damn score anyway. Might as well watch it.

I hate it because I know the game is already over and I cannot get into the same way. Just doesn't feel the same to me.

If I record it and watch it later, I'll feel even more like an idot when I cheer or yell at the TV. My karmic vibes of support or bad juju on the other team will be too late, and as powerful as they are, I don't believe they can alter an event that's already occurred.

You let momma sleep all night while you get up with the baby while watching the Buffs live. Worry about your cold tomorrow. Plus - you have a newborn - you are probably going to have a cold for the next 2 years. :)

I'm going to have to DVR it tonight. Starts at 1am here and I have to wake up at 5:45 for work

Watch the game and take care of baby. Wife will be happy to get some sleep and think you are a rock star! Just don't tell her the CU game is on.

Volunteer to be on night watch for feedings tonight. That way you'll be watching the game for noble reasons.

I'm in the same boat. I've contemplated staying up for it but doubt that's really doable. We'll see what happens.
+1
Originally had tomorrow off. I don't have to get up till 7:30 to make it to work "on time," but when you think about a 1:00 am kickoff...

Me too. Real big appointment at 7 that I need to be awake for.

It's going to be hard not to check out the score. I get home tomorrow before the kids get back from school so I've already told my wife to go shopping while I scream and cheer. Most excited I've been in years for the season and I have to DVR.

I would recommend deleting the recording if you didn't watch. Just punch yourself in the face a couple times, then have your wife kick you in the nuts. Same experience.
