stanford is looking less than impressive against northwestern. I don't know why but they always seem to start off slow. And by the way, I love watching their run game but their passing game is hard on the eyes. Everything takes too long to develop and Hogan always has pressure unless he moves out of the pocket.

Might have something to do with the fact that their body clocks are still on Pacific time (game started at 9am PT).

NW defense playing hard. Nice to see Hankowitz dialing in a great game plan against McCaffrey and the Stanford offense.

So when we go to Nebraska in a couple years the game is probably going to be at 10 am central 9 am mountain? That seems tough.

Don't worry. This team handles odd kickoff times on the road with ease.

Honest question, wouldn't you rather have an early start at 9 am than an 11pm start? These kids get us every day around five so I would think it shouldn't be as bad.

Stanford is on the ropes. They are too conservative for my liking eventhough I like their style more than the spread.

Stanford's offense would seem to be "built to travel," but they really seem to struggle away from home on offense.

That seems like the dagger. How is Stanford still having so many offensive issues?

I don't like how they use McCaffery for one. He's not a tailback, he's a specialist. They look a step slow to me too. Also they don't seem to have the style to play from behind.

I usually pull for Furd, but am happy today for Fitz, McCall, and Hankwitz. A lot of local connections….

On another note, it would seems Oregon has a cakewalk to the Pac-12 Championship game.

Well coached Northwestern team. Player kneels when he could take it to the house.

furd goes down.

Question for anyone that knows ... when did NW rename its stadium from Dyche (sp?) to Ryan Field?

Wazzu absolutely dominated Portland State in the 1st half, but only has a 10-0 lead to show for it as the 2nd half gets under way.
