Jeromy Irwin out for season

So about that pass protection...
I didn't notice even notice when Irwin wasn't in the game on Saturday, so Kronshage isn't a big step back.

I would think CU will be having some of the RT's cross train. Can't have true freshman at LT I don't think.

Kroshnage looked like he held his own after Irwin went out against Umass. Does anyone have a link to the linemen grades from that game?

Well, I would hope no one could notice the difference given the opponent. The rest of the schedule, excepting Nicholls St. will likely be a different tale.

Put the te over the lt more often and run stretch plays to the left, and run some bootlegs back to the right. Mix in some 3 step drops out of that formation and we can get the ball out of sefo's hands quickly. That will protect the lt without putting the rt in too much trouble.

Sarcasm Font missing here?

The one mismatch I see vs CSU is they will line up Barrett on the LT and he is extremely quick. He will beat some guys over there and it's really a matter of can we make them pay or at least not cough up turnovers.

Oh man. I feel for Jeromy. That just sucks, as he has battled back from injuries. I expect CSU to throw the kitchen sink at CU until the online can prove they can pass protect. Let's hope Kronahage stays healthy

I expect an Irwin to be involved in pass protection this Saturday. We opened with 2 TEs on the first series against UMASS, I expect to see that a lot Saturday.

Hell I'd like to see us chip over there and then release the te, start using one of them in the passing game.
