#3 Kordell to Westbrook.
#2 "The Play"
#1 Flutie to Phelan

I can buy being behind "the play" but I still prefer the Miracle in Michigan to Flutie's.

I'm totally biased, but the Michigan play was a helluva lot more amazing than the Flutie play. They just love Flutie because he's a little pipsqueek over achiever.

The Play should be number 1. That was just crazy.

Either us or Flutie should be 2nd or third. Our play might be better choice for 2nd because the play was more heavily defended making the catch harder (Phelan only had to beat 1 guy who fell down if memory serves) and the game mattered more (CU and UM were undefeated whereas both BC and Miami were out of the title hunt). I think Flutties Heisman run was cemented with this game and thats why it gets the attention that it does.

Agreed. Did you see #5: "Race for Glory" - Vince Young's game winning TD run. That may have been a great game but I don't think that play was all that amazing. I'd put BSU's hook and lateral before that, or even Tommie Frazier's run against Florida(#20 on the list).

Holy ****! I just saw Hnida made the list, #97. How is her kicking a PAT a defining moment? Yeah, she's a girl - big deal. It's just a PAT and the precedence is completely trivial.

maybe the doc called espn and begged.

Yeah, I'd definitely put both of the BSU trick plays before that. I personally prefer the Statue of Liberty play to win. That playcall just took gigantic balls.

That being said, Vince Young's performance in that game was ridiculous. 500 yards of offense?? If you were to compile a list for greatest college football performances by a single player, that has to be in the discussion for #1.
