Starting this thread early because CU is trying to ride a current trend in D1 football. Trying to stripe the stadium against the ducks.

Odd sections are asked to wear gray/silver

Even sections are asked to wear black (you have it easy)

Student sections is asked to wear gray/silver.

The effect will be really cool if people participate, so please plan ahead and pass the word.

That's gonna look dope. I'm getting a semi.
The team is probably going to be wearing this look too. It's gonna look sick on ESPN

It'll be hard to get the gray sections to have a good turnout because who the F has gray CU stuff? Coupled with a poor layout (why isn't the student section checkered?) and a strong green turnout this will look failed. Either checker it the right way or have a blackout. Dumb.

The student section doesn't have assigned seating. There is no way to logisiticaly assign two colors.

Also. I own gray CU gear.

You're kinda cranky.

Tons of grey CU gear. Come on now every school has generic grey shirts. Literally every team.

i'm kinda stoked for this game. it would be a very good win if the Buffs can pull it off. still a long shot, but do-able.

This is the type of game where the fans can have a huge impact on not only the game but recruiting. No better place for football than a rocking folsom field. Show recruits how big time football is at CU and it's just another piece to the puzzle.

Also if paying $20 for a shirt is too much, go to Michaels, but a $10 shirt and a pack of sharpies and be creative. This is opportunity to not only create an energetic environment for the game but also to show off the university on a national prime time broadcast.

I agree. Also on the coaching staff and players to show up. They will not get many other opportunities this season.

Completely agree. These kinds of games are on everyone associated with the program. Coaches, players, trainers, spirit squads, fans. If we want to get out of this hole, we have to leverage these kinds of opportunities

This isn't going to work unless shirts are handed out. People are dumb.
Yes it will. It works at every other school in the country without the AD having to hold people's hands.

If Boise state can get ya tri color stripe going or Tennessee can checkerboard the entire stadium, we can definitely get stripes.

Who remembers the last time the AD put free stuff on the seats?

Not going to happen.

They put pom poms on the seats before the Nub beat down. I remember because my wife kept pom poming (yes she was that CU fan the Nubs talk about) the back of the Nub fan in front of her until they left to try and sit somewhere else.

Tennessee and Boise fans live and breathe this ****. Our fans largely don't. I'm also not convinced that ADs haven't given away shirts in some of these instances.

11000 shirts is much different than 52000.

Also people don't throw the free stuff on the court at CEV
Yes but the point is that the AD has been doing it since I was a freshman and had no incidents. Hanging onto something that happened in 2009 or before is reaching.
