Vote for the ultimate college football team

The running backs are sick. Barry Sanders and Bo Jackson in the same backfield?:wow:

They are rating too much of that on their pro careers or fame not actual college performances.

I agree. Ben Kelly was a better kick/punt returner than JB, in my opinion. But Bloom is a nominee because of his name and Olympic history while Kelly isn't.

and how in the hell are there no CU linebackers to choose from? :wtf:

if i remember correctly, SI in the last issue of the '90's put CU in as LB U while rating the best overall positions of all college football teams.

I understand this is not a SI poll but geeze. not one CU 'backer to pick?

Agreed. Charlie Ward was probably one of the better college QBs I had ever seen.

The HC list totally sucks...

Bobby Bowden (13.5%)
Bear Bryant (35.3%)
Pete Carroll (7.3%)
Woody Hayes (4.6%)
John McKay (0.9%)
Tom Osborne (13.6%)
Joe Paterno (9.7%)
Darrell Royal (2.6%)
Steve Spurrier (7%)
Barry Switzer (4%)
John Vaught (1%)

Where is Neuheisel? :devil2:

Seriously, how about Schembechler? Newt Rockne? Alonso Stagg? Pop Warner.

lol, big time fusker homerism there, funny how not one fusker is a leader in the actual poll right now, especially seeing how there is nothing to do in Nebraska and the entire fusker fan base lives and dies on the internet.

Also, I would argue to the day I die that Osborne is not the greatest coach ever, not even close. He was Barry Switzer's bitch and started to become Bill McCartneys bitch until he was saved by one of the best college QB's of all time in Tommie Frazier, who Osborne lucked out on because he wanted to go to CU until they got Detmer.

homerism??? NO ****?.... Ya think?.... talk about none of the Huskers leading in their respective positions but where are all the mighty buffies? At least I had the opportunity to be a homer in this pole:thumbsup:.but hey cu might have a kicker and punter make it. :finger2: :smile2:

Switzer was a great coach, one of my favorites, much better than that ratface punk in there now. I really miss those days of the triple option for both NU and OU. We will never know about Mac... you might be right (but probably are not)..... lets just hope the terms you put to the argument continue for decades to come brutha.
