Stanford @ CU Pre-Pregame thread.

Sure glad I have tix for an 11am game. This is a game that would have been great with a lot of students. Stanford will be coming in as the highest ranked opponent we will see all season.

The program needs some buzz so hopefully it will after we beat UCLA.

"Nationally" and "PAC 12 Network" is an oxymoron.
Exactly. Nationally available except in most bars and depending upon what pac12 network it's on, you might have to watch it in front of your laptop because it isn't available in your area on tv.

Look at the bright side, this is 10:00am Pacific Time. Maybe Stanford will still be asleep the first half.

That Stanford game is going to be a meat grinder for CU.

Of all of the games left to play, this is the least winnable, IMO.

CU will get beat up, demoralized and squished, just like grape.

I didn't mind the 11AM's last year. was surprisingly good about spending my afternoon being productive.

After attending a 12PM or 2PM game, I usually just go home and spend the rest of the day watching football on TV.

Stanford lost at Northwestern, which was an early game.... Does lightening strike twice?

Wife is a stanford alum (yes, that is playing life on hard mode)... I will refrain from any kind of wager with her or her friends, this could be a rough one.

Could happen, but I think more likely a blowout loss at UCLA and a close loss to Stanford. Stanford will be annoyed that they actually have to show up for the game, then further reluctant to put effort into playing the game. Buffs have a recent history of play some pretty good teams close at home.

Stanford will be annyed, allright. To the tune of a 50 point beat down.

Just had dinner in Palo Alto with the family. University Ave. is nice but I prefer Pearl St.

Stanford offense under Hogan tends to struggle on the road. They also have one of the tighter DL rotations in the conference. I see a pretty ugly game on Saturday.

If we had a stable, solid offensive line I would be a little more optimistic. I think our defense will be alright, but our offense may struggle to protect whoever the QB is back there.

The Trees for the first time since NW look beatable. It's at home, but Hogan can run and if we shut them down like WSU did, all they have to do is turn Hogan loose...and we all know how great we are against running QBs.

I've impressed with our D the last 2 games...holding UCLA's O to 28 points at home and OSU to 13 is pretty impressive. I don't see we have much of a chance, but who knows...this teams could change their identity and actually win a game they're not supposed to.

I predict at least one kick directly to McCaffrey, which he returns for a touchdown.

People at the game should have their "Fire Neinas" posters ready.
