Catch-all thread for general comments, tweets showing interest/offers, etc. for the 2018 recruiting class.

Big time football now.

We are in the tracks of USC and Bama!

Wow- assuming Yahoo sports is accurate (http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/recruiting/player-Eric-Gray-179187), looks like it may be time for another football notes thread to be created, as the Buffs have possibly already offered a class of 2019 (???!!!???) player- Eric Gray from Memphis.

(The 2019 class status noted in the tweet has at least some outside validation from http://247sports.com/Player/Eric-Gray-81840 .)

Appears a 2018 class safety has been offered- Aashari Crosswell from Augustus Hawkins HS in Los Angeles.

http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/recruiting/player-Aashari-Crosswell-178767 (Obviously early in the recruiting process for a 2018 player, but already shows offers from Boise State, Tennessee and UNLV. UCLA also "interested".)

Based on a tweet from a buddy, and then confirmed via 247 and Yahoo, looks like the Buffs have offered 2018 class TE/ WR Brevin Jordan from powerhouse Bishop Gorman HS in Las Vegas. Looks like we are his 1st offer, but Yahoo list many premiere programs as "interested".

Edit- missed that Mr. Jordan also tweeted about his own offer-

From this article (http://www.scout.com/college/football/recruiting/story/1589945-patrick-surtain-jr-will-take-his-time ), sounds like it may be hard to pry him away from the SEC, but the Buffs have offered 2018 class cornerback Patrick Surtain Jr. from American Heritage High School in Plantation, FL.

http://247sports.com/Player/Patrick-Surtain-Jr-76862 (Already showing 16 offers, with the vast majority being P5 conference schools, including seemingly every powerhouse southeastern U.S. program (Alabama, Auburn, LSU, the Floridas, Clemson, etc.).)

Not too big of news in itself, but wanted to mention earlier 2018 Buff offer Tennessee "Tenny" Pututau, who I believe the Buffs were the 1st to offer, just received his 6th offer.

Note to mods- I believe a recruiting thread still needs to be set up for him, and some of the info from his brother's (???) thread (http://www.allbuffs.com/threads/17-ut-wr-taniela-pututau.110690/) moved into that new Tennssee thread, as the "Taniela" thread has posts related to one or the other brother jangled together.

I can't Believe Patrick Surtain has a kid old enough to go to college...good god, I remember him in the NFL...time... you fickle asshole

Saw the retweet from 'Nik. Watched a couple minutes of his highlights. Sold. Absolutely.

DTR is going to be a HUGE recruit. I hope this staff is after him early and often.
He did that for UW too and is retweeting other stuff from CU and UCLA. Kinda nice to be back on the same stage.

Would be an important recruit for a number of reasons. Getting a path into Bishop Gorman would be a big deal. Nice to be back in the conversation.

Note to Mods- looks like it's time to add a thread for 2019 recruiting news, as the Buffs are evidently the 1st to offer 2019 (pro-style per 247, dual threat per Rivals) QB Hank Bachmeier from Murrieta, CA (Murrieta Valley HS). (As I noted in an earlier post (#5), looks like he's actually the 2nd 2019 offer, joining Eric Gray.)
