Kid's a warrior. I know he'll be a great mentor for Apsay these last couple weeks and put in all the work to come back strong.

He is out for spring and won't be ready until at least fall camp. The possibility of Sefo having to sit out longer is very high with Lisfranc.

More tweets confirming. Think it came from HCMM's post-game presser.

Broken foot. They're saying Lisfranc, which some folks haven't come back from and been the same. Fracture in the middle of the foot where all the arch support and weight bearing is.

honestly don't think it is as hard for a QB to come back from a lisfranc injury. Should be able to go by fall camp.

Terrible news for Sefo, I've always had a huge soft spot for him and love his leadership and drive. This is an awesome opportunity for Apsay though. He looked very strong against USC especially considering how bad the line was.

Might be harder. If it is the foot he drives off throwing the ball there is a lot of force applied and he can't adjust the position.

That really sucks for Sefo.

As well as Apsay played last night, we missed Sefo's size and running ability.

I know we rag on Sefo a lot of the time, but he really is a warrior who always gives 100%. Really tough break for him.

It's such a simple movement with qbs though. I think it is harder for other players who are constantly cutting and chasing. Could be wrong though. Qb movements are not very dynamic is what I am trying to say.

That's too bad, he'll be ok though. I knew it was bad when he needed help as tough as he is. Best wishes to him, dude gives you his heart.

Liz frank is a real ***** who takes no prisoners.

It effectively ended Champ's career. Foot injuries suck. The minimum recovery time is how long it takes to get out of the walking boot, and most doctors say it's really an 18+ month recovery time to get back to 100%. But then you can't heal it properly if you don't play on it.

Sefo is a warrior and I love that he's a Buff. Hoping he comes back stronger than ever.

He is one tough SOB. He wanted to go back in the game, MM had to say no. Sefo gets ragged on a lot here, some of it rightly so, but if he doesn't get hurt I truly believe we win that game. He was playing lights out and is the real leader on this team. Knowing his toughness I'd be shocked if he wasn't ready for next year. He'll just play through the pain.

Knowing what I think I do about Sefo, he will put in the type of rehab effort P-rich did on his ACL. Sefo's problem have been largely mental, and he gets to focus on those 100% now. I bet he will be more than ready to go for fall camp next year.

It hurt me, to watch the hurt on Sefo's face last night (admittedly, I'm a pussy). Aside from the pain in his foot, you could see how much he wanted to be out there and how much he wanted to win that game. You can question his talent level but you certainly can't question his toughness or heart. I have no doubt he will attack rehab like a warrior.
