Mac & Leavitt doing work on the defense this cycle.

Jim Leavitt will be conducting an in-home visit with Pututau on Wednesday and will likely be trying to lock up an official visit date then. Right now Pututau has official trips lined up with Washington, Oregon State and Utah for January. He'll be choosing between Colorado, Washington State and Oklahoma State for his final two official visits. There aren't five open weekends for official visits left, but Pututau plans to take a couple mid-week visits in January. CU has offered his cousin Tennessee Putuau, who is still a sophomore. As a reminder on his plans (included in the article that Adam linked above):

Like his older brother Howard Pututau, who signed with Utah in 2013, Fua plans to take a two-year LDS Mission after graduating from Cottonwood Senior. He will sign a letter of intent this February but will not enroll at his college of choice until 2018.

The coaching staff has been extremely supportive of just this situation, particularly given the change in DC's. This is an excellent program and staff for a missionary to return home and play. The educational opportunities blow BYU away in quality and are significantly better than Utah. Hopefully, he'll give becoming a buff a hard look.

Are these two enrolling in the summer? I thought I read that Maka is going on a mission...was that right?

Either way, these would be great additions.

Not sure if still true?

I believe Pookie said he will take his trip after School is done and Fua won't sign till 2018 or so.

Going to be breathtaking beautiful in Boulder today and tomorrow, if that matters.
