I´m reasonably certain your yet to be born grandchild will know that Dabo Swinney is an Alabama alum by kickoff.

Vegas has it at Bama -6.5

Also guess this is as close as you can get to an all SEC title game as I always have Clemson down as an SEC team in my head

Based on tonight's performance, hard not to agree with Vegas.

Hoping for a Clemson win. Those poor bastards have stepped on their dick so many times it's hard not to root for them. Clemson in a close one.

Yuck.

I'll be rooting for Clemson, but I think Bama's defensive front will dominate, and I don't know if Clemson's defense is physical enough to handle Bama for 60 minutes.

Of course, you also have the ever present danger of Clemson Clemsoning. Wouldn't it be the ultimate Clemson if they were up 17-20 points in the second half and blew it?

Rootn for the tigers, but realistically that bama D is sick up front. Hopefully that bama Qb peaked this last game and clemson can make a couple of BIGplays.

Is it just me or does anyone else not give a crap about the NC game? It feels really anticlimactic to me.
My lack of enthusiasm isn't really because I don't care about either team much, it's more about the fact that this game doesn't feel like the big finale of the season. For me my hype for the CFB season peaked with the New Years (ish) bowls and this NC game is played too long after and feels more like the dying gasp of the season rather than the big finish.

We need to change the playoff system so that the NC game is played on New Years day

I wouldn't mind seeing the first round playoff games on the Saturday before Christmas.

As for the low amount of energy around this game, it's been a crappy bowl season so far, and people are sick of bama.

I am really starting to worry that the playoff is killing everything that was great about bowl season. It is more than just the fact that a lot of them were bad this year. It seems like we have gone from having a bunch of games that teams were excited to end their seasons on (and playing accordingly), to having a bunch of games that are on par with senior all-star games for excitement.
