Cool Chauncey Article

I just about puked the other day when I saw Chauncey wearing a UT shirt. That hurt. His daughter just accepted a scholly to Texas to play soccer. Sounds like she wanted to create her own legacy and not be saddled with the Billups name at CU. I have no issue with that. Haha.

I think DBT meant "Can't say that I blame her" or "I don't blame her".... Hope he fixes it when he wakes up from his late morning nap to take his next round of meds.

Y’all’s games are going to be tailor-made to fit one another’s. And your demeanors, too: You’ll be that calm, laid-back, cerebral kind of player, that steady hand at the point. Whereas Rip — that boy is going to have a motor on him. He’s going to want to cut, and curl, and run, and shake free … all … day … long. That’s that raw energy, that Rip will bring to the table. He’ll be the kind of player who thinks he’s openevery single play — like he’s got this rare shooting instrument that never turns off.

This reminded me a lot of ski & the mayor.

Great article. I loved reading it.

I get where Chauncey's daughter would not want to play in her dad's shadow at CU and it's probably why she's playing soccer and not basketball.
