Is this last ditch campaign on BuffStampede and Scout?

Happy dance!

I called to get the bad news and am delighted to report that the MyPlates representative said that 201 pre-orders have been received.

This means that the minimum number required to go into production had been reached.

Woot-Woot!

The manufacturing date has not been set and no official letter has gone out to those who have pre-ordered. But according to the service rep, the Texas buffs did what we needed to do.

Man crush on everyone who did their part! **** yeah!

How many alumni live in Texas? And only 201 were willing to buy this plate?

Apparently even a CU education can't fix whatever is wrong with Texans.

Yes it does, and yes I have them. So yes, I have a right to give you ****.

Awesome. Glad to see Maryland going above and beyond their limited reputation involving crabs.

Maryland's required minimum to establish a custom plate is only 25 members. It's no surprise that there is more bull**** required to get a vanity plate launched in Texas.

Even The Baltimore Duckpin Bowlers Association has a vanity plate in your stupid state.

I think we can move on to giving **** to California and Minnisota and Florida and any other state without a CU plate option.

I agree with moving on to giving **** to other alumni bases. But I do have to point out that I'm pretty sure that 25 is probably a higher percentage of alumni who live in Maryland than 200 is of the alumni who live in Texas.

Now, we supposedly have a large alumni base in CA, AZ, and WA. They need to get off their sorry assess.

I'll wait for you to get back with me with an accurate count of CU plates circulating in Maryland and the number of months in which those plates have been available on the market.

There's no reason to believe that 201 is the ceiling for Texas CU plates. That's just a snapshot in time on 2/15/16 of the pre-order quantity. Over time, that number will climb, specially now that the plates are greenlighted.

Can't wait for some Bailor or A&M dip**** to ride my tailgate after my plates arrive and are installed.

Now those dysfunctional losers in California need to step up.

Did you go with a customized plate, and if so, what will it be?
