Video highlights from scrimmage

Definitely night and day difference from last year. I am now worried about defense.

There were more accurately thrown passes in that video clip than all of last year's games combined, it seemed. The defense has nothing to do with that (well, unless they gave Cody all day to pass, but that was not the case).

So my first reaction is: holy ****, we have ourselves a QB that can pass!

Nice to see some footage.

Is Josh Smith #9? (or was it #8?) That guy was all over the field!!

And it was nice to finally see some footage of the big man, #92!

Just what is the story on Josh Smith? A bruised kidney? and he's going to miss the CSU game!?!!?

I'm a bit worried about the defense as well, but there were 4 defensive lineman that saw limited time, or were just held out all together. Collins also said that like the offense, they've been expanding the playbook on defense. I think the defense will be just fine come Sept. 1st.

Josh Smith is #9 and Demitrius Summler is #8. Both have had great fall camps

Im honestly not surprised that Robinson was brought down by our punter. If anyone remembers his performance last year, thats about par for the course.

Dont get me wrong though, I am looking forward to this season. There a lot of good things being done on the offensive side of the ball. Defense seems to have slipped but i think they will pick it up when everyone starts to play and the younger players start to grasp the system.

As always GO BUFFS!

This always happens. If the d does well we all say the o sucks. If the offense looks good the people say the d is slipping. Let's wait and see on Sept. 1st.

I thought that Anthony Wright (#21 on D) showed up pretty well. Anyone at the scrimage get a good look at him. Also I need to find out who #5 on O is. He looked alright on the film as well. It is nice just having some accurate QBs.

Also #92 (Soldier I think) is going to be awesome. He runs great for a 6'9" guy

Come on, we all know the only way that the punter could have gotten Robinson last year, was if the punter was the first guy down the field..:wink2: I hope he finds a way to regain his form from the year before last. Seems like he went from stud to dud in one off season.

My favorite part of this scrimmage video is seeing our WRs and RBs catching passes and then making a move to get up the field instead of just letting their momentum take them out of bounds.

#5 is Kendrick Celestine. With Josh Smith out, I'm looking for him to step up to stretch the lamb's defense.

they do that with players on special teams. i think to keep straight who's on which side since many O and D players (home-away jerseys) mix when the units run specials, like punts.

something like that. and they are elastic-y mesh-like covers, not actual helmets.
