What seed do we get?

Would love a "6" but I don't think we did enough to warrant one. Had we beaten Utah in their barn or the chards in the tournament, I think we would have had a good argument for it.

Voted 7. I think we did enough and our wins v oregon, cal and zona are strong. could have easily been on the 4 line had they not dropped both to the utes, the one @U$C, @OSU & v SMU.

I just want to be off the 8/9 line.

I agree. The teams around us fighting for those 6 and 7 seeds have better RPIs and a better record against the Top 50. I believe CU will be an 8.

Do we get an additional boost for our win against Oregon, given that beat down of Utah, and the fact they are likely 4-5 top team in? Not sure, but maybe....

I voted 7, but I would not be shocked at a 6.

I worry about us getting shafted......at one point I worried that we would be in the first four games....but I think we will be a 10....no real reason just gut feeling

My biggest worry today is that the Committee is starting to use the KenPom team rankings as an additional evaluation tool, according to multiple reports. Seems that KenPom rating had a significant impact on seeding last year.

CU is not rated well on KenPom... currently the #54 team in the country. RPI will finish in the 33-36 range, so we'll be in. But could KenPom influence our seeding down to a 9 or 10... or even 11?

If we were penciled in as an 8, this impending VCU loss is a good thing. It's still early enough for the committee to do some massaging of the seeds. Of course, St. Joe's is in that vicinity, too. I guess it depends on where we are on the S-Curve.
I wouldn't mind at all if they screwed us on the seeding but threw us a bone by making us a 10 in Denver.

10. National respect is still sh!tty.

It's not the media or fans selecting, though. Committee has representatives of all conferences and uses RPI as its main tool. Pac-12 is #2 RPI behind Big 12, with CU as the #34 RPI team with a 9-8 record against the Top 100 (4-8 vs Top 50 & 2-6 against Top 25). Basically the type of record that would give the Buffs about a 1/4 shot of beating a Top 4 seed. Not a lot of teams in CU's range are that high.

I picked up as a 10. Still think on the national stage we have not proved enough consistently. Think we deserve an 8 but might actually be better off at a 10

I don't think that is pre-determined.

It's not but the destionation for all the possible 1/2 seeds is pretty well set at this point, which means that that the highest seed that could be in Denver would be a 3 seed, therefore one side of the bracket would be a 3, 6, 11, and a 14 seed. The other half would be either be the same seeds, or a 4, 5, 12, 13.

Probably 1/2 seeds, with one extra team listed:
UNC -Raleigh
UVA - Raleigh
MSU - St. Louis
OU - OKC
KU - Des Moines
Nova - Brooklyn
WV - Brooklyn
Oregon - Spokane
Xavier - St. Louis

If we can get past them we get one of or favorites in KU! Would love to bounce the Jayhawk. Get it done Buffs

This logic failed miserably, and the Ducks got a one.

Well, game time Thursday, let's Dance!
