#8 Oklahoma vs. North Texas: Should be easy debut for new Sooner QB. OU 49-7

#4 Texas vs. Arkansas St: Please, this will be like practice. UT 60-0

#20 Nebraska vs, Nevada: Nevada almost beat Miami in a bowl last year, but the pack will be too overwhelmed with the Memorial crowd. UNL 37-17

#25 Texas A&M vs. Montana St: MSU shocked CU in Boulder last year and nearly upset Okie st the year before. This time a Big 12 team rolls the cats with their new coach. A&M 35-10

Oklahoma St @ #13 Georgia: Georgia almost lost to Colorado at home this year, this will be another close game, but Dawgs prevail. UGA 27-21

Colorado vs. CSU (Denver): Buffs could have won last year, and with better QB play, they will this time. CU 24-14

Missouri vs. Illinois (St. Louis): I have a feeling this game will be close. MU 34-28

Texas Tech @ SMU: Raiders offense rolls. TT 56-17

Kansas St @ #18 Auburn: This will be a closer game than most think as well, KSU almost pulls off the upset. UA 24 KSU 23

Kansas vs. Central Michigan: Jayhawks should win take care of this. KU 31-20

Baylor @ #22 TCU: TCU could go undefeated. TCU 33-21

Kent ST @ Iowa St: ISU wins in Chiziks debut: ISU 38-13

Good details on your picks.

I think Okie St pulls out an upset over the Dawgs.
I think Missery smashes Illinois. Pinkle will try to prove the naysayers wrong.
I think Auburn beats KSU by 2 TD's. Remember KSU is in dissaray right now and Prince aint helping things any.
I also think Nebraska doesn't score that many points as the coaching staff plays some of their younger talent (such as Castille at RB and Blue at CB). Especially since Lucky is showing signs that he is fragile and also the fact that Glenn still can't get over that friggen foot injury he suffered last year.

Fill me in on KSU-- I am out of the loop on the latest shenanigans over there.

Well for starters Freeman has had a lot of ****ty practices but the one that is really bad is Prince and his temper. It appears that he got so mad at his offense he even made the coaching staff run stairs with the kids. One of their players was arrested TWICE in one night. Just a few examples of the meltdown in KSU. I think that is too many distracters for them to face at the moment. Just my two pesos in the matter.

TCU will not go undefeated. They will come to Austin and will be punished in week 2.

You forget what they did at Oklahoma a couple years ago? Don't overlook the frogs, I would not be surprised if TCU plays Texas hard. It might be tough for a frog win, but it wont be a cakewalk for the horns.

Agreed. I am not saying it will be easy. However, IF Texas shows up we SHOULD beat them soundly. The key for us this year will be how our offensive line plays.

It looked like they were heading for a melt down last year with players quitting the team and taking shots at Prince but somehow he held it together to have a decent season.

Road game for the Frogs with an inexperienced QB. And the Horns are better than the Land Thieves were a couple years ago. Horns win by two TDs.

I hear you and hope you are correct. The thing I worry about is that sometimes all these 'distractions' are really just symptoms of a team that is itching to get after it on the football field. Once they start playing other teams and have a 'common enemy' they funnel all that angst in one directtion and end up being very dangerous. Hopefully Price has their moral so low that they don't want to work hard for him.

Great idea!!!
You should do a top ten or twenty five too.

#20 Nebraska vs, Nevada: UNL 37-17 (Just because...Nevada 31-28)

Colorado vs. CSU (Denver): CU 24-14 (My pick CU 31-14 A year's worth of pent up frustration)

Kansas St @ #18 Auburn: UA 24 KSU 23 (Intriguing score. I think too much D for KSU who usually doesn't see anyone this good this early. I go UA 28 KSU 13)

Baylor @ #22 TCU: TCU 33-21 (Way too much D. TCU 31 - 10. I do agree with the undefeated part.

Comments:
OU-N. Texas: The QB position appears to be the make-or-break for OU this year.

Nebraska-Nevada: Same as OU, how well Keller does will be key. D appears to be strong despite only getting 5 starters back. Agree that NU will win fairly easy.

Texas A&M-MSU: A&M could be darkhorse in Big 12 but schedule is brutal. Oh yea, this is an easy win.

OSU-Georgia: OSU's offense should be awesome but I like UGA in this one. Dawgs by 17.

CU-CSU: Buffs win 30-21!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Missouri-Illini: Illinois is much better than their 2-10 record from last year (sound familiar??) and will be a mild surprise in Big 10, but I'll also go with Mizzou in a fairly close one. If the line is a TD or more in this one I'd definitely take Illinois and the points.

KSU-Auburn: Too much turmoil for a K-State team going into a very tough place to play. Auburn by 21
