Junior Day is next weekend, do we have an idea of who all is attending? Seem to be some big time players coming in. More hype for it this year than I can remember in recent history.

With the timing of Van Diest tweeting out a couple of athletes (one who is confirmed coming) I'm hoping he has inside info on who is coming out and is trying to recruit them and may even be there in person. The other of note is 4* WR Jaylon Jackson.

I don't actually know tho, just wishful thinking.

I like Lytle a lot. Would we be happy if we took his commitment next weekend?

I think he is a bit of a project, might not be ready to start as a redshirt freshman, but I think the ceiling for him is extremely high. Like program changing high.

Wow, program-changing ability; that's pretty high praise. Most of the names at QB we've heard about up to this point I'd be fine with, including Lytle. Just don't think he'll be ready to pull the trigger just yet.

Perhaps some hyperbole on my part, I just really like him. Plus it wouldn't hurt us in the least to snatch a big time trinity league QB.

Obviously, you hope Montez steps up and is the guy for 2 or 3 years and we can get into a cycle of bringing talent in and developing 'em without throwing 'em in the fire as freshmen or RS freshmen.

Among those coming to junior day is receiver Jaylon Jackson, a four-star recruit from Cedar Hill, Texas. Jackson will have at least one Cedar Hill teammate with him, as cornerback Caleb Lawton will make the trip. Their teammate, Camron Buckley, who is a four-star receiver, might be on the trip.

Mizzou is such a hot mess right now. I wouldn't consider any of their commits to be solid.

With the Allsome new indoor practice field, kinda nice not having to worry about the weather being nice...saying that, It is suppose to be nice this weekend.

Chamber of Commerce type weather. Sunny and 60's. Doesn't get better in Boulder.

In MacIntyre's post-practice comments today, he said that the coach's clinic today drew a ton of HS coaches from Colorado and also a bunch from California and Texas. McCartney addressed them this morning. HCMM and GB will also be presenting. HCMM let them attend all the team meetings today and really seems to be giving them a lot they can take back and use with their teams.

Hopefully that part of this Junior Day is highly successful, because it can do so much for recruiting.
