Major shakeup on CSU staff

Worst timing possible. With like a week before the spring signing period They have like 5 scholarships to fill

Perry is getting Associate Head Coach title at Pacific, so that could be a logical move. However, with both coaches going to lesser programs at the same time, it sure seems peculiar.

That's why it's downward, Skiddy

But, but, but, Wichita State dropped football, too. Gonzaga doesn't have football.

Besides, I want to see who comes to the defense of CSwho.

Maybe they don't like Diet Coke.
Yeah definitely possible. Or you know it could be the tantrums, LE not giving a **** about recruiting. I think you are on to something with the Diet Coke theory though.

I read this article on BSN Denver about the departure. It does not sound like great news for the CSU MBB program- it sounds like Hodge was their star recruiter on staff (responsible for landing a bunch of their better players over the last 3 years, and got a verbal from a former top 150 JUCO transfer for this cycle), and that Perry ran day-to-day practices. This raises some interesting questions- cheifly, what the **** does Eustachy do if not those things?

Given that this is a CSU-dedicated media outlet saying those things, I don't think it's overly dramatic to say that this might be the beginning of the end of the Eustachy era in FoCo.

Just fire Eustachy and offer Ryun Williams already.

I ****ING NEW RWAG WAS A SOCK! You've outted yourself now.

He seems to yell at players and refs quite a bit. Apparently it takes a lot of time out of his day to fight the urge to go on a binder.

As wonderful as they are, Ewe fans believe he's mailing it in for the remainder of his contract (just extended through 2020) and that, whenever possible, he blows the Ft. Fun pop stand and heads for the coast. They may be right.

How much would they owe him if they did fire him. CSU isn't swimming in money right now. If they fired him they would almost be forced to go to a low cost replacement.

So, does he take the last train to the coast with the Father, Son and Holy Ghost? I kind of doubt it.

Larry used to live a couple of doors up from me. He really was a decent neighbor. That said, given his history at USU and IS, 2 coaches leaving at once warrants a very close examination of the program and of Larry. I hope all is well, that the personal turmoil hasn't resurfaced, and that the coaches were drawn to new opportunities and didn't flee the program.

John Gillon and Toby Van Ry are transferring. Yikes. That could be an RPI killer unless Eustachy pulls some transfers out of his ass

CSU at home is unlikely to do much for RPI next season. But we're playing at BYU, have Xavier at home, and will play neutrals against 2/3 of Notre Dame, Texas and Northwestern. It won't be like the past during that run of a few seasons when we could count on CSU being a Top 100 (and probably Top 50) opponent, but we're just fine without that.
