Former NFL great Luther Elliss (and Mancos, CO, native) who played his final season for the Broncos is Noah's dad.

Luther is one of the founders of All-Poly and is also very involved in charity work. Noah is one of twelve children (7 adopted).

Utah alum.

***************

Buffs might be able to find the future anchor of their 3-4 defense with Noah.

My one claim to fame in football - played against Luther in 7th grade when he was in Mancos and I was in Dolores. I was a center and he was NT - He squooshed me like grape.

Ha ha, allsome. Well, not for you. I met him and Rod Smith in Durango once, they were both cool people.

Now a 4* on Scout. Ellis is starting to have his offer list blow up. Would be such a big deal if CU could gain a commitment here.

He has been so quiet that I don't have any idea. Early on, it seemed like it would be USC or Utah. But I've heard that his dad and HCMM have become friends, so that could be a big deal.
I would actually like to see both he and his dad on the team.

What is up with all these recruits talking about the nubs' academics in a positive light? As in, someone will take all your classes for you? UBL?
You do realize that half the nub players make the Academic All American team, don't you?

Just goes to show "nub" players are smart players.
BTW: Apparently Elliss is showing interest in Nebraska now. Who knows what he will do. He is keeping most of his thoughts about his future college of choice to himself.

Most of those "Academic All-Americans" had very iffy high school transcripts.
Using the word smart and Nebraska football doesn't really mix well, unless you are comparing
the players to the rest of the inhabitants of that state. Then in that case, they are very smart.

Dumbest person in Colorado moved to Nebraska.

Raised the average IQ of both states.

Just like 'bama. Even Forrest Gump graduated from 'bama.

Looks good, my only concern is the level of competition. I will like to see more film of him going up against OL that are as big as him.

I don't imagine there being many CO prep players close to his size . I actually like watching him dominate and it makes me feel bad for the opposing players. I don't know how he doesn't disrupt at least 75% of the snaps he plays
