Alex Perry has been to Boulder twice in the last year, once for a camp and for the Arizona State game. His father said Arizona State, Oklahoma State and Colorado have had the most interest in the 2017 prospect, in that order.

So, the way I read the board here is that he committed to ASU on 11/2 and then was "blessed beyond belief" to receive an offer from CU on 11/8. I guess we'll see exactly how blessed he is to get an offer from CU, eh?.

He committed 11/2/14. It's been a year since he committed. He visited Colorado several times before that happened. They had a pretty good relationship with the family. He did call it his 2nd home, so maybe there is a chance.

Well chop my legs off and call me Shorty! I missed that.

Stop getting so fired up about where 17 year old kids decide to go to college. It's not a personal attack against you.

I'm not fired up at all. I was just curious at his choice of words and what they mean. I do find irony in the use of "blessed" by so many recruits though. Being "blessed" is a big thing to me. I'd prefer "honored" or "proud" or "happy." Words like that. Maybe I should post this in the "pet peeve" forum, haha.

Any updates recently? Rivals just wrote something about the situation on Perry. This would be a huge get for us!

Perry will be visiting CU in June with Bubba Bolden... Perry actually visited Boulder twice during his sophomore year, once for a camp and once to attend a game. He has family that lives in Parker and the Buffs seem to have as good a chance, if not a better chance, than any program at this point.

Beyond that, the douchenozzle who misquoted Perry and called him a "soft verbal" after that interview has made Perry gun shy on interviews (understandably), so we're not likely to get a lot of info until that smooths over.

Bishop Gorman's 7 vs 7 team just finished an undefeated season by winning the championship at the UNLV event.

Here's a nice clip of Perry taking the other team to school:

Lots of opportunity to play early on defense for the 2017 class. Graduating a lot of guys from the 2 deep.

He is one of the guys I probably watch the most. I think with Bolden coming to visit with him, it will be huge in our favor. Bolden likes the idea of continuing to play with Perry. That will help pull Rodgers our way.

Huge opportunity, can't agree with Buffnik anymore. These highly recruited DB's should see the chance of starting here early. They would be the best DB's we have had in a long time and they could play together! It would be a huge get.
