Your team won a hard-fought battle. Cody Hawkins is the real deal. I hope you go on to have a great season. It was fun chatting with you all.

Thanks and we'll look forward to the next battle with the lambs....

And CONGRATS BUFFS!!! YOU DID IT! :gobuffs: :drink2:

From here on out this season, GO CSU! Beat Cal

It was a great game on both sides. CSU played their guts out. Sonny always has them ready to play. Much respect to you guys. good luck the rest of the year.

I'm not one of those who wishes CSU good luck the rest of the way, I hope they lose every game they play, I don't care if it does hurt our strength of schedule. Ok, if they play ND I'd pull for 'em

....But let me add that I must admit that CSU played a good, tough game against us, as they always do.

I do root for the lammies after they play us, so GO CSU! and GO BUFFS!!!!

It was a great game, backed by Sacky's great breakfast burritos (already looking forward to the NU game for some more of those burritos and the awesome green chili to put in them). CSU has nothing to be ashamed of; a few plays here or there would have changed the game to a win for them. Actually, there were many places were only one play could have changed who won (like those stops for CU on fourth down--big to the outcome!)

Yo had alot of the 'It sucks--to be--a C S U grad' from the students, but in general, the kids didn't seem as drunk, didn't really see alot of confrontation (and I had to go look for a CU hat at the booths on the first level where all the CU and CSU kids were running around for drinks and food--and they were pretty civil to each other). Made it a nice day for us; hopefully something didn't happen after we were gone.

good game. csu played its heart out as usual and left everthing on the field. gawd, some of the catches those guys made. it seems like every year, csu receivers come up with 2-3 "best highlight of the year" type catches against CU. it is heart-stopping.

... glad to have that game over with and now we can start figuring out how in hell our interior defense is going to stand any chance in conference play.

Okay, Manhattan Beach Buff. You and I didn't start out on the greatest terms. But, your team won. Congratulations. Just for fun, do you know what classic film from the '40's was about a movie-in-a-movie called, "Oh, Brother, Where Are Thou?" This was the source for the Coen brothers' title.

Regardless, props to your Buffs. I hope you have a great season, build up college football in Colorado and support our strength of schedule!

It seems like the CSU receivers were catching everything thrown their way, much to their credit. I was thinking the same thing, it seems like almost every year they have a receiver who kills us. A few years ago it was Anderson, last year Johnny Walker, Sperry today.

Thanks Chicago, good luck the rest of the way. I actually felt a little sorry for csu after the game thinking about their 8 game losing streak likely to go to 9 next week after you play Cal.

Good luck!

I have to say, I really didn't expect CSU to hang with us. But, with Hainey, Sperry, and Bell, that's a tough bunch to contend with. Bell ran really hard and Sperry killed us. Glad we were able to shut things down a little in the second half. Have to give credit to the Rams though, they played all out and played well.

ok, thanks. good luck to you guys the rest of the way too. the gap in college ball between the bcs and non-bcs schools has definitely narrowed uncomfortably from this side of the fence. freaking app state over michigan? a d-1aa over the blue AT THE BIG HOUSE? what a world!

i don't know the answer to your trivia q, but it is a good one!

I'm digging into the arcane Hollywood trivia here. The movie was called, "Sullivan's Travel's."

Your team just kept fighting today. I admire that. Make sure you ROCK Nebraska!
