4.5 is fair-We're favored in the RMS, will be favored over Idaho State and Oregon State, and I'd say probably against Wazzu as well.

Embree beat Wazzu. With Jordan Webb as QB. We should be favored against them every year from now until The Pirate walks the plank.
That was 4 years ago in Leach's 1st season in Pullman. They cleaned our clock last year, went 9-4, and are returning Falk and 14 starters. We'll see how the season goes, but no reason to think we'll be favored today.

Auburn at 6.5?!??! they have 3 gimme OOC games, so this is really betting whether they're .500 in SEC play. Did they get in trouble again?

Our schedule

CSU - 5.5
Idaho St. - N/A
Michigan - 10
Oregon - 8
Oregon St. - 3.5
USC - 7.5
ASU - 5
Stanford - 8.5
UCLA - 8.5
Arizona - 6
Washington St. - 7.5
Utah - 7.2

So we need to win 5 against 11 teams that on average are expected to win a shade more than 7 games.

Do that and beat ID St for a bowl game, finishing 6-6. We don't even need to do something uncommon. Just play to expectations and we should be in a bowl game.

Only one team on our schedule is expected to win fewer than us, not including Idaho St.

If you can't beat 5 teams amongst 11 that are expected to finish on average at 7.2-4.8, you are not very good.

They took a pretty big step back last year by going 6-7. In the preseason, they'd been a popular dark horse pick to make the playoff.

In college it's very hard to be a big time winner every year. Unless your those very few special programs.

Some ASU fan gave me a lot of **** last year for saying this, but Graham hasn't proven anything. He inherited a lot of talent from Ericksen, but I can't say they are beter now than his year 1-2 teams. He shocked some discipline into the program and rode it, but it's losing it's luster. He's never stayed in one place so long.

Not to hijack the thread but AZ is not well thought of by Vegas either and I concur. I don't think they will score enough, because they will not likely be good on D once again. Really, it's never been RichRod's thing. I mean, I get that he invented the spread, but that's not the huge advantage it used to be.

ASU and AZ trajectories may be down, not up.

UCLA - have yet to see them do much with that talent. This has got to be the year they don't underachieve?

In some fairness to UCLA, they were hammered by injuries on defense last season and were starting a true freshman at QB. I agree that this is a make or break type year though.

The next few years could be the best timing for #theRise in the Pac12. None of the top schools are in top form, Arizonas are down, and USC/Oregon don't sound as 'cool' as they used to be

That was me and I absolutely proved that to be the case. Not surprised you simply plugged your fingers in your ears shouting "nanananana can't hear you!"

Last year was obviously a huge disappointment and I bet Graham feels that way more than anyone else. A largely different secondary and coaching staff should at least help.

So you are affirming I was right. Kreskin....

So, let me get this straight.

You "absolutely proved" something.

But then actual results proved you wrong?

Definitely one of top universities in the world.

Time to bitch slap Servo.
I wrote in that thread that there were questions, specifically, what is the trajectory of both Arizona and ASU?

Here's Graham's record at ASU (in conference)
5-4
8-1
6-3
4-5

That instills confidence in you? No, if you have half a brain, you are questioning. Just as I said in that thread. You picked a bad week as I used all my patience up this week with DevilDong.
