Reported Offers: COLORADO, Alabama, Arizona State, Arkansas State, Baylor, CSU, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Kansas State, Louisville, LSU, UMass, Middle Tennessee State, Nebraska, Northern Illinois, Northern Iowa, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pittsburgh, South Carolina, Texas, Toledo, Troy, Utah, Washington, Washington State, West Virginia

In a surprise, he committed to CSU on Wednesday, June 17th (took UV there) over some pretty big reported offers. LINK

He opened things back up on Sunday, June 21st.

Since then he named his 4 favorites on July 14th: ASU, Florida State, Nebraska and Ohio State.

Took a UV to ASU on the 22nd.

This could be fun to watch.

In a surprise, he took an UV to CSU, met a coed who is very serioius about football and fell instantly in love, and committed to CSU on Wednesday, June 17th (over some pretty big reported offers.) LINK

By that same weekend, other schools said you want to take more visits, as you will fall in love with multiple coeds at all of them.

Took a UV to ASU on the 22nd. Of course, he in fact did get a sampling of coed life. He also received second degree burns on his hands trying to open the car door.

It would be fun to be recruited.

If he wants film to show NFL scouts CU would be a great choice.

He could be a starter from day one and get to compete against the best WRs the PAC12 has to offer, which in many years means the best WRs college football has to offer.

Anywhere has to look spectacular to this poor guy, well except perhaps Fresno. Growing up in that valley means that every place else on earth (Whether it be Arizona or Tardbraska) will look like heaven. Though Merced does have one cute little coffee shop...you just have to get by the meth heads to get in the front door. His visit to Colorado may end up feeling entirely too good to be real.

holy shiit that's funny.

I lived in Phoenix (twice) so I can vouch for this poster. He speaks the troof.
And due to global warming, the average high in the summer will soon be, like, 142 degrees there but only 84.5 here. That should be a consideration.

So why would he even consider CU if CSU is not close enough to home?

He won't be coming to CU. Not sure that CU ever really offered. Not sure about a lot of the reported offers. But he did sign with CSU and they released him so he could play somewhere closer to home in consideration of family issues.

Interestingly the first 2 programs to thrown their hats into the ring are Arkansas St and Louisiana Tech

So he committed to CSU originally, decommitted, and then ended up signing there anyways? And now he asked for a full release? Is that the way of it?

I like to dig at CSU as much as anyone but if his mom is experiencing serious medical problems classy move by CSU to release him and understandable on his part to be changing his mind.

Got to feel for a kid who has worked hard to get to a point of being able to go to a college of his choice and be a D1 player only to have his mom get sick and distract his attention to more serious things.
