The D scares me. I wish they stuck with pressure on third and long more. Most college QB's can't handle it. This rushing three crap isn't very effective.

Has the direct snap become this year's bubble screen?

Way to go Eberhardt, thanks for hanging around, we're going to need you this year.

The D Coordinator (name ?) said their were some breakdowns on defense but that the problems would be easy to fix.

the direct snap AND/OR the end around to P. williams. every once in awhile that will work, but once a series for each play is not going to cut it.

i can see how the direct snap play can/will be very effective once bjack is back....with a run pass threat (and yes it's bjack not bjax....according to his myspace anyway ;))

Don't forget that 2 D-lineman were suspended for the CSU game. I'm not sure CU had the option to blitz/attack as often as they would have liked, especially since Sperry negated the use of the LB's as potential blitz options. I think we'll see more once Kaynor and Perri are both back and the DE's have a few games under their belts

I only saw the 1st quarter before heading to downtown Lincoln for our own game here. So my takes are based on just the 1st quarter.

Not really impressed that you had to go to OT to beat a mid-major team. I thought you were going to slaughter them. You're defense is a sieve. You're offense is very dangerous. I don't like it at all! ha!
