CU offered his brother, Adam, last year. He ended up signing with Florida State. Their dad, Tony, is from Boulder and signed at USC (for those with short memories for pain & disappointment :D). Bernardi was the OL coach at USC who recruited Tony and coached him for a couple years before leaving to UCLA. He'd be Adam's position coach for TEs at CU. Enough connections here that should put CU in the conversation. Surprised we haven't seen an offer yet, to be honest.
