Raising the bar. CU needs to do something. And I think CU can do something a hell of a lot better than this.

$2.3 million facility. http://www.sltrib.com/sports/4037823-155/utah-skiing-utes-break-ground-on

The 5,800-square-foot multi-level structure will serve the men’s and women’s alpine and Nordic teams, housing locker rooms, ski tuning rooms, a video and film room and a large conference room. There will also be space for equipment storage and covered parking for the team vehicles. http://www.utahutes.com/sports/c-ski/spec-rel/062216aaa.html

Didn't we just move all the sports not named football, basketball and volleyball into the Dal Ward center? Doesn't the ski team have some nice new digs here at CU? They're not still out at that shack next to Potts Field, are they?

Decent digs in Dal Ward plus an on-mountain facility would easily trump what the Utes are doing.

An on-mountain facility will be tricky, but should ultimately be doable.

eldo expansion HEYO
That was my initial thought as well. Not sure we could pull it off, though. How cool would it be to have a CU ski team lodge/training facility right on the grounds at Eldora? Game changer.

Yep. Would be a great venue for booster functions, too, like was done with CO National for golf.
