Dylan Keeney's high school. Lewis also works out with Kenion Training (NoCal), which CU seems to have developed a connect with.

Chev, Clark, Adams and Aunese all following along with Udoffia.

Some video from his performance at the Golden Gate Showcase where CU coaches saw him.

The offer happened while he was on a UV with his mom.

When Lewis finally got the offer, his mother had to hold back "tears of happiness during the meeting," Lewis said.

"Humbling," Lewis said, describing getting his first offer. "it gave me a feeling like never before, I felt so blessed and proud knowing that all the hard work truly does pay off, and I will continue to work hard to be the best I can possibly be."

The offer may soon be joined by several others.

"I know UNLV is still on the verge," Lewis said. "Coach [Jamie] Christian has been trying to get me offered for a while now. Coach [Greg] Burns from Cal got to see me workout and he liked me and grabbed my phone number, so we will be in contact."

Also interested are Wyoming, Nevada, UC Davis and Cal Poly.

Thanks - missed the film in that article the first time.
Will be interesting where this kid's stock goes. Are we first in or is that 40 yard time real and thus a concern? Kid has great feet.

I don't know. "Real 40 time" is such a loaded question, too. Our coaches saw him in person. They know if he can run.

KD Nixon was "Nike Verified" at 4.57... Just turn on the film and you can clearly see his "football speed" far exceeds that time. I think Lewis is in a similar boat... Or had a really really bad timer.

Not fast but finds the holes on offense (good hands). Not afraid to stick his nose in on defense and anticipates well. Not sure how translates in the Pac12?
